Received a very hostile and menacing post today. Evidently someone wanted to plan some kind of get together in my state. I did not even see the post. I was accused of not supporting him and that I live within 30 minutes of his area. My state is a relatively long state and it certainly takes more than 30 minutes to travel between many areas. I actually got more than 5 posts over the weekend from this person. I guess I should have made a report, but I see now that this person is no longer on the site.
Please let's all treat each other with respect aside from consensual messy humiliation.
It continues! I thought his profile was removed, but just got another nasty post. Won't go into the details, but I will follow the other advice here and just block him. Does sound like a psycho, considering he launched this attack without knowing me.

Call the asshole out. If he is an asshole to you, he is probably an asshole to others. Just blocking him isin't enough. Report it to MM and post the screenshots here.

Don't just block, use the "Report" link and flag the message you received to MM as well.
I've removed that account from the site. Please report anyone who acts hostile like that because you're likely not the only one they're abusing, and we just don't allow people like that on this site.

Man, I will never understand why it is so hard for some people to just have the most basic of social graces and not be an absolute asshole to others. It's really not that hard.

Humans as a whole aren't mature enough for social media and the ability to communicate and share ideas with strangers around the world.
