Assuming we are not the only ones that feel there has been a lot of negativity on the UMD lately given recent events. The weather here has turned to full on fall, and winter is fast approaching, which would normally mean the end of the sploshing season for us. But given the current climate, we decided that we would try and do a bit more to help cheer things up. Andi and I are both off work tomorrow so we picked up some sploshing supplies tonight. This will be a much smaller scale production than our usual sessions, but it also means that it should be easy to edit and post rather quickly (at least by our usual slow standards). And the duration will be much shorter since we will be shooting outside in the cold. Here's hoping that our good intentions actually come to fruition

Note: The one pic is what Andi was wearing when we went shopping this evening. Was thinking of pieing her in it. Other options on the table are a business suit, formal gown, or a wedding dress.

Not quite your scenario, but there is a messy wedding in the "to be edited" pile from this summer.


The business outfit she has in mind would be more of a top/skirt with stockings type thing.

Given the weather and the fact that we are awake while the sun is still up (unusual for night shift workers), we have decided to try and do 4 small sploshings of all the outfits we mentioned. One down so far, now a race with the clock to see if we get to them all... Next up is the business suit

By the way, we are shooting in a spot closer to the house than normal so Andi can run in and warm up. The lighting is less than ideal here, though

2 down, 2 to go! We went a bit flirty with this one. A bee from a neighboring apiary decided to make a guest appearance which made things a bit interesting...

3 down. Racing with a setting sun and rapidly falling temperatures now...

Goal accomplished! Andi was a trooper on this last one. I myself was a bit cold, and I was not on the receiving end! She had fun though, and so did I Hopefully this was a bit fun for some of you as well. We ended up doing this shoot exactly as the pic I took of her when we got home last night (fleece tights, no shoes). Not our norm, but it also means one less pair of wet and messy shoes to deal with My goal now is to edit this stuff and have it posted much quicker than usual. I normally have help from some other forum members with editing pics (thank you GTGP90 and OZWammer!), but this time I will just post the jpegs as they appear on my DSLR. And as I said before, lighting was less than ideal, but oh well... There are also some Halloween shoots we had done before this that I want to get up before that day.

From the beginning, I have said I wanted this to be a positive thread. That is obviously a reaction to other things that are currently going on on this forum. I have not commented in those threads because I (nor Andi) have anything of value to add. Obviously sexual assault is wrong and should not be condoned. The fact that that seems to be a topic up for discussion is mind blowing to me... That is all I care to say on that matter. Remember, I am trying to keep this positive!
