On a side note, I found a mid-30s model who (based on her earlier pics) started out doing your standard lingerie/tiny bikini/implied stuff, but has since transitioned into primarily glam looks: short skirts, various hose and nylons, expensive heels, low-cut tops. Every outfit she does would be PERFECT for one of my shoots.
Of course, I've reached out, but haven't heard back...and I'm not holding my breath. She's apparently got a large following that she's monetized into an OnlyFans, and I've already learned that a lot of these models no longer accept ANY shoot unless it's for the purposes of their own site and content.

About a year ago, someone here asked what us geezers did before the Internet or even home video. The short answer is, we fantasized off existing non-WAM media.

No, nothing that complicated.
If a model is making, saying, $10K a month off her OnlyFans (which is not as insane as you'd think), she has ZERO incentive to take on any outside projects. I'll still reach out, because it doesn't hurt to ask, right? But I'm already preparing for the negative answer.

A lot of models now make insane money off an OnlyFans page and an IG where the only "content" is selfies and vids they shoot themselves, or their partner does. The only outside people are maybe a "real" photog she trusts, for more pro content, and the occasional additional model for G/G stuff.

This is very different from even 5 years ago, where even a top model still had to work WITH photographers and companies to get paid. It still didn't mean she was gonna do a WAM shoot (either she'd turn it down outright based on content, or charge an insane fee that made the shoot financially impossible).... but now even mid-tier models don't really have to do any outside shoots PERIOD unless they want to.
The days of, say, Lenny bringing in adult models for $3000 a day to shoot a bunch of WAM content are mostly gone. Any model now that has the kind of following to justify a $3000/day rate can probably make that kind of money in a week, if not 3 days, on OnlyFans. You might find exceptions, but mostly just with models starting out (who don't have a following yet) or older ones who haven't adjusted to the new rules.

ANYWAY. Sorry to sideline the discussion. I suspect the nuts & bolts of this isn't known to a lot of you and might be weirdly fascinating?...

[EDIT: To be specific about the original question, if I were a pro videographer AND local, this model might pay me a small fee to shoot some "sexy" leg & hose content for her site. Or possibly edit what her husband already shot to make it look better. But there's NO broad market for WAM content out there, so suggesting that we shoot that kind of content would probably be a non-starter.

I think it's similar to YouTube advertising.... mostly a pittance, but the upper echelon can really pull down bank. A model I know fairly well (and probably can't ever shoot) is in the top 1% and told me she can sometimes make $500 an hour on OF, especially now.

I did shoot a model very recently who's also in that top 1% and she not only did a great job, but charged me a CRAZY low rate. I was shocked (in a good way). My only rationale is she's young and she actually likes the travel and the work.
