I decided to experiment with Whisk and was shocked by how insanely good AI image-to-vid has gotten. Here's an animated gif with literally just a few prompts. Still waiting on pending video to get approved, but it literally adds like background ambient noise and him saying "oh" a couple times lol
Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get a video approved? Haha--the two I uploaded have been sitting in pending for about 16 hours
In other news, PixVerse is letting you do unlimited generations through Sep 1 (so about 12 hours left), if anyone wants to experiment. The fluid dynamics and viscosity is kind of wonky on that one BUT it lets you take a picture of a person directly into a scenes so you can slime your favorite celebrity, politician, estranged ex, etc. lol
Just over the past six months the quality of WAM videos posted on Tumblr has gotten amazingly realistic.
When I first watched this one I thought it was real but then I saw the PixVerse AI name in the upper right corner of the video. A second closer watch showed a few things that were a bit off but it still is amazing.
But it is kind of sad that people are sitting at a computer creating virtual WAM content instead of going out and having some fun in person.
