I constructed my own projector from CD cases as shown in the first YouTube clip for use on my tablet. I don't have Adobe Premier so I used the free video processing tool AviSynth to generate my holographic WAM video. The AviSynth code is given in the jpeg below. See my Green Screening post here https://umd.net/forums/fun-with-green-screening for info on the source video, how I changed the background to black, and AviSynth code in general.
Below is a gif of my holographic WAM video that works with the pyramid projector (7.6 MB). Also below is a gif showing the projector in action (7.54 MB).
If you want to skip the "green screening on to a black background" step, I've found that a decent hologram can be made from videos that have a nearly black background to start with (warning, there's sound on this one):
All video content is from YouTube -- Lucy Lawless in a whipped cream bikini from "Xena: Warrior Princess" S06E20 "Soul Possession", the WamWatchers trailer "YCDTOTV Reagan" (with sound added from other clips), and Reshiel from her "slimed 99: A daring sliming" video on slimeathon's channel.
Really need to let my carpal tunnel rest before I pick this up again. May also get sheets of Perspex to make a bigger cleaner projector (see the second "how to" video in the first post). There are also premade ones on eBay. Carving out those pieces from old CD cases was pretty rough, lol. If you're wondering, my tablet hasn't suffered any scratches at all from the projector.
