Hey everyone, apologies if this is the wrong place but wondering if anyone had experienced the same/had any tips to resolve.
Have purchased a couple of different streaming memberships over the past few months but run into regular issues with the player. At the best of times, it seems to play maybe 2 minutes without needing to buffer, on bad days, it happens every 3 seconds of video playtime. These buffering moments can last between 1 and 20 seconds and are very frustrating.
I have experienced this on both normal and high bitrates and over the course of the past few months, I have tried this over 4 different networks, no change.
I am using Mac and am experiencing this on Chrome and FireFox, and its virtually unplayable on Safari.

Hi messyg have you brought this to the attention of Messmaster? I'm not entirely sure what the framework for the streaming player is, but I know for most downloads VLC is recommended.
I use Windows 10 and Chrome, and I haven't had any issue other than my own internet connection problems.
Thanks for your message. We have our bottlenecks from time to time like any other site, but at this time things are running smoothly and I'm not seeing a spike in complaints.
Glitchy playback, caused by issues other than the internet connection or server, is more common than you might think. Cases like these are sometimes caused by a video card that can't keep up with the realtime rendering of hi-res content. The fastest connection and server in the world won't help that.
I can't say for sure that that's the issue, but since you've tried various browsers and networks, and our servers check out OK, the issue seems to be isolated to the video card on your computer. Even the low-res versions of videos have to be rendered-up to viewable size, and that takes CPU.
May I suggest viewing your streaming videos in fullscreen mode instead of within the web page. For some reason that seems to be easier on video cards. If you still can't enjoy your purchase, please contact me via Contact Us, and I'll make sure everything works out one way or another.
GungeMeGood said: I'm seeing incredibly poor playback performance, too. The player won't play more than a few seconds without pausing to buffer. This happens on both my Android phone, and my Windows PC. The PC has a Core i7-6700 and a Radeon RX 480, which should be more than enough to stream a video. So I don't think it's an issue with the hardware on my end. My internet connection is fine- streaming video from Youtube, Netflix, etc works alright.
Last night and a bit into today, we have experienced slowness from our file server due to hard drive configuration and how traffic is hitting us. I'm on top of it and making sure that things stay fast and smooth. If anybody experiences any trouble, please let me know. GungeMeGood, I'll contact you personally.
