Hold your breath for this post!
So kind of dangerous I guess, ha, but what are time records for head dunks and with what substance? I'm guessing marshmallow fluff like 5 seconds?

Vika got a couple marshmallow fluff dunks that had to be 10-15 seconds, she was gasping for air! I finally bought that video.
does anyone like to head dunk? I guess not many people do it.
ask my buddy on here, nashville slime, he is the one who got me into head dunking..he has seen some glorious head dunking!!
go to my video "extreme savory madness" and on there is a gif in the pictures where i head dunk in that nasty extreme stuff. i didnt go for long bc that wasnt the point. but its pretty funny. i head in a LOT of vids....dixie is becoming pretty damn good at the head dunking!! her new egg scene, she dunks over and over for a good while !
being as i went to see dr. splash a few times, i will tell you this...its like head dunking....lol. bc you get thrown under the water at WHATEVER miles per hour...its crazy fast. leaves bruises on the back of your legs!! and then you are under there, pop up, climb back up only to get dunked before you catch your breath! that stuff is fun too!! but there are a lot of them in the house of mess!! you will be getting a video pretty soon with some really awesome head dunking

We did our first head dunk shoot back in 2002 with Katie and she held her head under for a very long time, if memory serves me right. Not meaning to brag, but I'm pretty sure we are the first WAM producer to film a head dunking in this manner. 
I do love giving the girls a good 10-15 second head dunk!

awe thank you!! yeah that crisco scene "fade to black" holy shit. fucking black crisco...talk about fucking feeling REALLY MOISTURIZED for A WEEK. haha! gotta head dunk....i really enjoy messy encasement so, head dunking is ALWAYS a pleasure!

agreed. i think if you are gonna dunk, hang it in there....! what is the point in dunking if you arent gonna lose your breath a little?? i have to agree on this one!

I tried it out again recently, was amazing. I took deeper breaths and Jayce said to pretend I was doing handstands under water. a couple of times i really had to pull the bucket off as I was stuck. it's a neat experience and cleanup isn't too bad- but it does get everywhere!
anyone try anything else in bulk like icing or I see some type of cake decorating paste? I'm not sure of the thickness, seems there are a couple of different types of icing paste or base. any bakers out there?
I've never thought to count how long I am under, that's not really the fun part for me. I think one of the molasses scenes I did was probably the longest I stayed under just cause it felt great. It was also really fun to blow bubbles in molasses, it kinda tickles as they slowly go up around your head.

For cake decorating I think you are referring to fondant which is solid so you wont be getting your head in that. Other types of frosting/icing range from being very liquid to more of a semi-solid paste. I think the store bought canned frosting would be interesting to use since it is thicker than most things people use for head-dunking. Or it's a horrible idea and that's why no one uses it.
well that would have been embarrassing to order that fondant and it be a brick lol. yeah the icing seems to be really thick. what kind of molasses did you get? that sounds like a viable option. especially if you could breathe decently
