I think we can all agree the proper response here is to use restraint and be respectful of the WAM model/producer/whoever.
Here are some tips:
- Follow them around and intently stare at them. Particularly if it's a woman, they enjoy the attention. Try not to make eye contact but if you do, lick your lips intently, which is a great non-verbal way to give them a compliment.
- If you can approach them, do so, but only in a manner in which no one else is around. Show them the respect of making your interaction with them as private as possible. So, in the parking lot when they're about the enter their car, if they take a turn into a dark alley, that kind of thing.
- Once you approach them, use restraint, but let them know with no uncertain terms that you masturbate to them all the time, nod and smile when you say this and stare right at them. This is another wonderful compliment to give them and show your interest. They will certainly appreciate this.
- At this point, you've already charmed them I am sure, so if it feels right ask them right them and there if they would be willing to participate in a WAM session with you. If you're short on cash, they might be happy to help pay for supplies, too!
- Don't initially take "no" for an answer, that's the tried-and-true Salesman tactic that has always been worked and still holds up today. Don't be put off if they seem busy or frightened, women like their games and often put on a show like this, but the reality of the situation is that they're likely even more excited than you are at this moment.
Good luck and hopefully when you run into a WAM personality things work out great! Just remember to use restraint and to not be a creep or anything!

Unfortunately, there are some people here who will think that the "tips" between your first and last paragraphs are for real! :ohbruther:
I think the best thing to do is to just let it go when you see them out in public. This is a fetish, an odd fetish at that.
Think of it like this. If you are out and about and your Domintrix sees you, do you want her to say hi to you? of course not, that is a private part of your life. I know you can say "they put the pictures online and the video online" but we are a small fetish community. Be glad these models do this.
Now if they have a UMD profile, it is to connect with people most likely, so messaging them and say hi, I don't think is harmful.. Hell, it might lead to a chat an even a beer. But, tracking them down on Facebook or twitter is though, and creepy.
Part of the issue when people find themselves in these encounter situations is that they're suddenly being confronted with a situation they never expected to happen in real life. It's analogous to being "Starstruck".
The other part of the issue is that some people feel as though they're connected in some way OR that they have a deeper relationship with the model in question, when in reality they don't. The nature of the involvement is predominately one-way and even so, it's a stylized facade of character that the person is relating to. They've connected to the images presented, but don't really know the model as a person. Who they are, what they've been through, etc. etc.
Model's are hired to do a job, present a character, play a role, fulfill a desire... but they are not always necessarily the people they pretend to be.
Even if they were, a public meeting "out of the blue" would be a very different situation for them and no doubt put them into a very different frame of mind than they would be in otherwise when they're working or "on the job"
From the outside it's often an uncomfortable experience to watch when fans at conventions start gushing to stars on stage as if they're already acquainted or already friends.Being in the public eye has to be a unique and not altogether easy experience. Being in the public eye of a more private world I'd think be even more so. Especially if you're just trying to pick up groceries or out with friends.
That said, I'm the kind of person who talks to basically everyone almost anywhere I go, about 'literally' anything. So if I was in a situation where I recognized someone and we were interacting, I wouldn't lie about recognizing them or withdraw, but I also wouldn't jump into a discussion about wam.
Well, a while back I realized that one of Rich's Slapstickstuff model bears a startling resemblance to one of my co-workers! Holy shit!!! Oh, and it was one of my favorite SS video too!!!
Unfortunately, I never followed up on that... which would be weird.
"Hey, have you ever modeled for some guy who threw pies into your face?"
"Oh you did? Wow that's awesome. You were part of my favorite scene that producer has ever produced, and I'm still jerking off to that scene every now and then."
I am still kicking myself for letting it go though. I'm just dying to know if it's her!!!
This happened in the early 2000's and I didn't return until 2008. That was a totally creepy experience and one I never want to experience again.
I don't totally understand why that's creepy.
If you put yourself out in public, you can't be surprised if you get recognised... and the guy was probably building the courage to say hi.
I'll bet he left the store feeling like the biggest jerk in the world for freaking out someone who should be more comfortable with who they are. I'll also bet that if you had just said yes, but I have a kid with me... drop me a message at my website so I can send you a signed photo or something he would have loved it.
I'm probably going to take some shit for this, but I just don't see it as that big a deal. Put yourself out there... you can't be surprised someone recognises you and wants to say hi.
Saying that... was the kid old enough to understand the words? If so, that's inappropriate.
Model's are hired to do a job, present a character, play a role, fulfill a desire... but they are not always necessarily the people they pretend to be.
So are actors, but a lot will happily take a selfie with a fan of their work.
I've been working with models for years, I've dated models and married a former model. Trust me, they rely on their fans to go to the places they are featured. It gives them extra value. They also have egos.
People get way to uptight with this. If you don't want to own it, don't fuckin' do it.
My advice... just be a normal human being if you see someone. If they are doing something that you wouldn't want to be interrupted by a stranger, don't interrupt. Just use normal human being judgment on appropriateness.
I was served at a pharmacy by a well known girl from a popular WAM site - but I completely failed to recognise her. It wasn't until I was at the studio and... "Wait. Didn't you just sell me Ibuprofen?".

Haha and if I remember right she thought you were stalking her...
We've had 2 people knock on our door and countess dick in hand phone calls, our girls being contacted through social media all not cool!! The only time I've been recognised on the streets and called out as working on the sites was by another of our girls sister who recognised me from the pictures her sister had shown her! I think an appropriate hi is pretty nice

You shouldn't get any grief at all regarding your comment. I look at the time frame of where I was mentally regarding being on display. Back in the early days of the UMD my husband would post a few pics of me (with my permission) and only a few of those showed my face. So when I had my above encounter it bothered me because I thought, "OMG everyone knows I'm on here!" I was naive about the Internet back then.
Obviously in a 6 year period my attitude changed and here I am displaying myself for nearly everyone to see.
Regarding my son; he was pretty young, a toddler in fact, and perhaps that bothered me as well. The only other thing was the gentleman who approached me was acting strange and to tell you the truth, he gave me the creeps even before he asked if I was piegirlkay. Sometimes you just know.
...and I'll assume it wasn't Regis. I'm sure he never puts out that kind of vibe!
Gopher's message hints at this story. I'll tell it here. Some of you may remember 'Marlicious' who was on here for awhile. Someone from here must have recognized her, because a letter was written to her employer, telling them she is on a porn website and they will go to the press with the proof unless they fired her. She was fired that day.
As if that wasn't bad enough, she and I were sharing some time outdoors, and when we got back, the police showed up at the door, questioning us about 'shooting porn videos'. Before things got any worse for her or her family, we decided to pull the plug. No more Marlicious - thanks to some do-gooder who felt they were cleaning up our little corner of the world.
Putting a face out there always comes with a level of risk, but she was treated like trash, even though her videos didn't even contain nudity. She was doing it for the fun, and to cover some expenses in filming, and just wanted to share the joy of getting messy. As her videographer, I knew her quite well, and can honestly say that she only wanted to share the simple joy of playing in the mud with those here who also enjoy it.

WTF? Do the police not have real jobs to do? Why were they questioning you guys for "shooting porn vids". Last I checked that was legal and none of their business...

I seem to remember Jayce saying that something similar happened to either her or Jilly. That's a shame that some people have nothing better to do than try to ruin someone's reputation and cost them their job! :ahahah:

That's just horrible. I hope she was able to recover from something so devastatingly asinine. I'm still unclear on how blackmail towards a company equates to sufficient cause for termination in less than a day. Was an attempt made to fight back. Was there a morals clause? I'm just stupefied by this turn of events...
My only wam experience in planet normo was at the Birmingham Nec some 3/4 years ago. The Brummie nutter Karen, a good friend from the messymayhem days , was working the motors port show. Not only was she at the same show, she also was working on the formula I covered most! So cue her shouting at the top of her voice my surname (which is hilarious to be shouted out loud, think a woman of dubious virtue) and then when I clocked it was her I got "ya bastard, I haven't forgiven you for gunging me when you rigged that quiz against me" . Cue me going red as a tomato, as amongst my racing peers was a mixture of kudos and shock! However, we then got giggling and started talking about the next shoot and what she wanted to do to Bosubob. ...

I hear you. That was the thing that bothered me after I posted... approaching someone with a kid is not cool. Those are two things that are separated and that line should be respected.

Haha yes you do have a great surname to be shouted out in public xx
In our case, the job she had was collecting donations for a church-based group. The mere threat of the complainant going to the press with 'proof' would have given them a bad name, which is why the only safe thing for them to do was to give in to the threat and quietly let her go. Yes, there is porn on the UMD, so the claim that 'her photos are on a porn site' was essentially the truth.
As for the cops, they have to investigate any and every complaint that comes in. The complaint stated that we were shooting a porn video in a public place. We had been shooting some fun in the mud, but always clothed. I offered to show the officer what was on my camera, but she (the officer was female) said it wasn't necessary.
I hope the person who reported it got a warning for wasting the cop's time, as we only admitted to being out in nature. Absolutely nobody could have seen us, as our spot is extremely secluded, and the hawks, etc. would have warned us if someone was approaching, which they could only have done by canoe, and we'd have seen them from a far distance. Coming by land would involve at least a two hour hike through farmer's fields.
At any rate, it put an end to her being a wam model.
Bobographer said: At any rate, it put an end to her being a wam model.
I wondered. I used to follow her adventures on here. I liked Marlicious because she was wallowing in some great natural locations and she was just a regular gal (kind of like me). Her pictures weren't porny at all. Everything was very tasteful and fun, and very real as opposed to "staged", and although there's porn here, I think it's just plain stupid that she lost her job over it.
If you see her, tell her "Nessie The Quicksand Girl" noticed when she vanished.
(And tell her that I did drop out of video, not due to any problem with being a Quicksand Girl, because I don't have the kind of career that would ever be damaged by this...the management would laugh itself silly if they heard about this but they wouldn't do anything...just, y'know, my back went out about a year ago, and while it did heal up after awhile, I ain't no spring chicken, and all things got to end some day. I didn't delete my UMD clip store, though.)
Nessie, that was a great interview! I am personally not a quicksand fetishist myself but I found that video very fascinating, and it was nice to see that the producers they profiled were featured in a positive light.
I also wanted to say that while I've always thought of you as a luminary of the messy community as a whole, I particularly respect that you've indeed been one of the few visible women in WAM, something you touch on in the video. I, for one, have greatly appreciated your presence and the insights you've shared over the years as both a wammer and a woman. You're certainly a wonderful ambassador for WAM-loving ladies and I'm glad a bit of that legacy is preserved here.
Bobographer: what is interesting to me is that some member of the 'community' was obviously looking at porn himself...then he recognizes her, and ...what?,,,feels compelled (out of self-loathing) to report her....Or, maybe his wife found the web history on his computer and she reported her (the "brazen hussy")...crazy.
[name removed] said: It would be a dream come true to be shopping in Wal-Mart and bump into Jilly and Jayce with their cart loaded up with supplies! After quietly introducing myself and gushing about how amazing they are, I buy their whole cart of stuff for them and give them my best Wal-mart tip: the generic Wal-Mart brand cookies that rip off the Girl Scout cookies are surprisingly good. (Second best tip: their rotisserie chicken is great)
Am I in the minority in that I found this entire thing entirely creeptastic?
Female producers, I have a question for all of you:
- Do you want random people to approach you in public while you are grocery shopping and introducing themselves, fawning over you and then offering to buy your groceries?
Ok, sure, free groceries sounds good, but as we all know "nice guys" don't like to give things away without some level of expectation attached to it. Maybe the guy here had no such thoughts, but as none of us are mind-readers, at the moment when this grinning guy who has just approached them in public and is interested in what they do in private, lavishes them with clumsy compliments, offering to buy things for them, are they going to be thinking maybe this guy might want something for his gifts? Is this guy going to ask to come along on a shoot? Is he going to camp out at this Walmart to stalk us? Is he going to follow us to our car? He's already fantasized about us, what's he going to do next? OH GOD I AM SO AFRAID RIGHT NOW
... seriously, people, anyone who thinks it's a good idea to approach a fetish model in public and talk to them in any capacity, much less what they do in private, should be BOO'ed out of this forum. We should have e-pitchforks and e-torches and running anyone who thinks like this out of here.
IT'S FUCKING CREEPY.
Now, hey, maybe someone wants to organize a "Wamcon 2015" and set up booths where models can come and meet and great. Approaching a model/producer in that environment, gushing over them, offering to buy them whipped cream and such -- THEN it's okay.
Otherwise?
You're a fucking creep for even thinking it. Pee-yew. Maybe nobody else is up in arms here, but I think it's pretty damn bad.
One UMD babe dropped me a message out of the blue to tell me she had been in my city earlier that day. I kicked myself for the lost chance. Based on that, I assume it would have been ok for me to say hello, but I certainly would have been low key. No offers to buy groceries.
I think it comes down to certain models not being happy about being approached rather than all models. For example, Lexi from Messygirl never told her parents the type of modelling she was doing (she confirmed this to me in the UMD chat room back in 2004 maybe) so she probably would have been uncomfortable with a fan approaching her.
I would guess that producers like Messygirl herself, or Ariel from WAMBabes probably wouldn't mind being approached although it may depend on what the situation was.
Dick in hand phone calls like Lisa described is out of line in my book. What creeps.
I walked past Jessie once on my lunch break. Won't say where, not my place to say.
I was so star struck that I panicked, decided to try not to freak her out, tried to look casual and probably looked like a right weirdo going past her on the other side of the street not knowing where to look.
