I was just wanting to get people's opinions on substances they find Halloweeny. I can make gunges and fake bloodses and custards too. So what sorts of colors and textures make you think of spooky season?
Something's I've used in the past wouldn't say they are spooky but go with Halloween are chocolate cake or brownie batter, pumpkin pie fillings (texture is amazing) pumpkin guts, apple pies and pie fillings, pumpkin pie, could use strawberry jams. and syrups to list a few
Orange and black of course, so orange slime and molasses (treacle). I would say you need two five-gallon buckets. One for the orange slime and one for the molasses. That should do nicely. LOL!
They're orange so match the season's colour, the sauce is deliciously gooey, and the hoops and sauce together are deliciously squidgy when poured inside your clothes. And of course it's savoury gloop for that added sense of being one step messier than sweet things.
One of my favorite Halloween candies is Resse cups. I know they're great any time of the year but I remember when I was young, they were mine and many of other rick or treaters favorite candies to get! They are also the candy I buy every year to hand out to the trick or treaters!
You could use a lot of peanut butter and chocolate, cover yourself head to toe and turn yourself into a human Resse cup!
I also need ideas. Being in Australia we don't really have a huge selection. I'm planning on using Halloween as a theme though and clowning it up to that theme, using some cream or something to mess me up a bit
look for the Halloween themed frosting colors , pumpkin orange , pale green , dark purple . All are great Halloween themed colors . Also black as well.
