I happen to like seeing females rolling around in mess, rather than just sat in a chair having it dumped on their heads. But I find often it is difficult to find videos of a pool of gunge with the model being dumped in, or otherwise rolling around in the mess. I realize a pool worth of gunge is a whole lot more than the amount needed with a gunge tank, so cost is probably a factor.
Does anyone else share my preference to see women partially submerged in a nice deep mess? There are wrestling videos, and mud videos out there, but the pool of slime seems to be a little harder to find.
It does cost more, but it's awesome. I prefer the deep pools both personally and for the models but the overhead tank dropping gunge from above seems to be the more popular going by sales
lots more deep pool stuff lined up for candygirls (and guys)
We did our first session using the 6' paddling pool I acquired last year the other day, and I did think filling it with gunge would probably be an awesome experience for a model, esp after Susie raved about how much she loved going in the large bath of pink gunge and fully submerging, while dressed in latex, at MoominSplosh2018. However filling it to the point where a model could submerge would probably take at least £100 worth of gunge. A standard gunge tank on the other hand probably uses about £15 to £21 worth. Would definitely consider doing it at some point, but would need to be a day of fairly intensive shoots with multiple models, which of course ramps the price up even further.

that's what I've done (part of intensive filming) and 500 litres worth gunge is about £200 depending what I use. I did add half xanthan gum once to keep cost down a little.
from another perspective too it does save time and hence get more videos done, as once it's mixed that's all your prep done for the day and I can get up early and do that long before any models arrive

Well I actually prefer a gunge pool but yeah as all of these amazing people are saying it is more expensive to do but I think it is worth it
If I had an arbitrarily huge amount of money, I'd build something that was both. A tank on the edge of a pool that can gunge you from above or open out and pitch you in. (Or, obviously, gunge you from above and then pitch you in.)

you've just given me an idea that I will be putting straight into action tomorrow
It's not cheap using a lot of Gunge like that. Our Dunk Tank uses around 1500 litres of Gunge. Once filled, it will lady around 10 days though.
Although not a Gunge tank, we did used to pour Gunge buckets of Gunge over our Dunkers once they'd been dunked in Gunge. We also did a few games where we had the dunk tank and Gunge tank side by side and a victim in each. Was fun with them not knowing who was going to get dunked or gunged.

There are budget options for Gunge. Although easy mix HEC is expensive we do sell cheaper options such as Carboxy Methyl Cellulose and Xantham. Both are harder to mix but a lot cheaper.
I wonder how many got their 'start' in wam by seeing gunge dropped on contestants or other televised people. There seem to be a large group of people who really like the gunge tank idea where they sit on a chair and gunge drops on them. In many cases, the head, boobs and legs get messy, but not much else. That's why I prefer the pool, where it's a definite head-to-toe mess. With the gunge tank, more mess winds up on the floor than on the recipient. I always look at the floor and wish the girl would lie in the mess and roll or slide around. (and sometimes they do, but usually not)
That free form idea could work. Pond liner with a deep end to collect runoff and shallow end for dumping over the seated victim. Clean and stock with Goldfish when not shooting ...

I always wished Noel Edmunds' gunge tank would be rebuilt with pipes that came down and turned to spray the gungee all over from the neck down, as when it was just dumped on their heads 90% of it just splashed off onto the sides of the tank, completely wasted. I think the best mainstream gunge system ever created was the first one from Get Your Own Back, where the adult contestant first had gunge dropped into their lap, not their head, and then as the gunge was still falling they got tipped forward through the still falling flow, into the huge dunk tank of goo. The only thing that would have improved it would have been for the gungees to be instructed to stand up after their dunking so we could have seen more of their totally gunge-soaked outfits, but then it was a kids TV game show not a fetish production. If I'd the money and the headroom I'd build a replica of that system.
I definitely favor a tank in which the victim (or model) is dumped into. More complete gunging getting 100% coverage, in fact I'd done something similar once at a Jello Jump for a cancer benefit where we slid own a slide into a small pool of jello. I had done it later and the jello had gotten rather soupy and I slipped completely under the jello through no fault of my own & it was Erotic! Personally I'd LOVE to be dunked as in the GYOB way...
