I also wonder how long it would take the TV crew to step in to stop the actors from getting assaulted?
I've said this before with these types of shows but modern "reality" based television (be it talk shows or fuckin ex on the beach) is pretty much near fully set up in order to get the right reactions from the right people. Prime example would be that I heard from the crew that worked on Love Island that stated that near all the conversations were pretty much engineered by the producers. Even other reality shows manage to twist what's given as real through editing and whatnot. This pretty decent Brooker enlightens upon this shit

Are you being sarcastic about this, but serious about:
I also wonder how long it would take the TV crew to step in to stop the actors from getting assaulted?
or vice versa? Because your second statement implies you DO think this is assault.
It certainly is assault if the victims are not part of the show. But, if they all are part of the show, then it's not. NorthernWAM seems to think the latter. I don't know what to think. Innocent until proven guilty suggests the latter.

The racist thinks that hitting someone with a pie without consent is a "joke", but retaliating with anger is assault and due to their Latin temperament. Never mind that any American of any race would react exactly the same way. As to whether or not it's all set up, obviously it would be illegal in the US, but I don't know the laws in Brazil. Seems like it almost certainly has to be fake.
Just answer this to yourselves: Why would an adult come alone until Santa Claus to receive a present? Does it seems to be a kind of thing that normally happens? And the outfits of the two girls... simple blouses and pants... Normally, to go to a shopping, women uses to dress themselves better...
In Brazil, in the real life, this would be injury. The author only can be punished if the victim prosecutes him. The victim could also requests money indemnity by moral damages.
So, if this wasn't fake, they probably did a deal with them.
