Has anyone here ever been in a pillory or stocks and had wet sponges thrown at them? In the UK it's very common to see this at village fete's or other events.
Years ago I went to a fete with my cousin and agreed to stand in a pillory, the guy running it locked me in and I got soaked. The holes were quite small so it was impossible for me to escape much to the amusement of my cousin.

No I never have but I think it'd be great fun. I saw a video once of a young woman who let herself be put in stocks and from behind a couple guys started pouring water on her from these period correct goblets or whatever. she got pretty wet. Me? Sure, put me in the stocks but use many many buckets of water !

I'm quite surprised this isn't a thing in the wetlook community, especially members in the UK.

So does wetlook only involve swimming pools and showers?

I like dunk tanks but stocks and pillories are my favourite as I like the humiliating element of being trapped and not able to get away while getting soaked.

Yeah me too. Love the idea of the public humiliation been trapped there just having to take it. Even better if it's something messy and vile instead of water!!!
