Sorry, but the second pic is complete bullshit. If not, then all the carnivores in the 5 life kingdoms are all KKK, Nazi, assholes. That includes, Lions, tigers, bears, venus fly traps, flesh eating disease, etc.
There are also some studies going on to determine if there are any plants that can "feel pain". Last I read, there was some evidence of broccoli having a primitive central nervous system
Then we could talk vegan vs. vegetarian. Usually the argument being about causing animals "distress" or "pain". I mean does milk, butter, cheese, or even eggs "hurt" animals?
Do I think McDonald's animal farms are a good thing? No. Do I think eating meat makes me akin to being Hitler? Really NO.
That said, I believe that being vegetarian or vegan CAN be a noble thing, if you're not some self-righteous asshole about it, thinking that because you don't eat meat, you're a better person than someone else. I've known "vegans" that smoked indoors with their toddler children. I view it in the same respect that some people choose to live any ascetic lifestyle.
