Welcome to August! High Summer is over, and though warm says still beckon, Harvest Season is here, the days are shortening again, Autumn is coming to High Langstonedale. So, what better way to celebrate the turning of the seasons than to join the truly gorgeous Friday, and very lovely Miss Abigail, in the gunge dungeons beneath the hall for a truly glorious dress-messing session with custard and golden syrup!

Saturation Hall - Forth! The Gungemaidens!
I just wanted to say how much I love the picture where Miss Abigail really lets Friday have the pie in the face. A real splat! And for me pies should have the ability to splatter everywhere and not just get stuck to the face. This definitely looks like my kind of scene

Agree with you on pies, while the more solid, cake-like kind are good for sitting in, when being thrown or splatted onto someone, you want sloppy and splattery to make the most mess not just of where it lands but the rest of the person too. Our "pies" for these sort of scenes are paper bowls filled with half a can of runny custard, we used to top them with Tip-Top squirty cream but that seems to have gone out of production.
Must admit am quite proud of that first shot of Friday getting it, you can see the custard splatter going over her hair and down the front of her dress. Of course given we bought those Adidas dresses specifically as pie-fighting uniforms, expect more of this kind of thing in the future!
Here's some more pie-splatter, going over the inside of Friday's dress while her underwear is getting the treatment:

We do love splatter here, so you'll definitely be seeing more of this kind of thing in the future. Meanwhile, here's some non-pie splatter, as the swimsuit Friday is wearing under her dress gets some more of the messy treatment at Miss Abigail's very capable hands.
