Guy named Collaro? Sorry, I'm a yank so I really have no idea of the background of these. Pretty sure it's French.
Anyway, I've struck a decent vein of 80's variety pap, complete with sexism, racism, puppets, tits and an occasional pie in the face. Trouble is it's in French, the skits are often rapid fire and the episodes are an hour long. In my scanning I've only caught two female hits... this one, at 1:09:20

You have obviously never seen Australian tv shows, Brazilian TV, Filipino TV Shows, Taiwan TV shows, Hong Kong TV shows, Mexican TV shows....where it is still seen today.
It is gone from American TV and the last time we had blackface tv shows in the UK was in the 1970's when "The Black and White Minstrel Show" ended.

I think that it's not much of an issue in many countries because there isn't a bad history with that. The Netherlands have a weird black elf, and other comedy shows just treat it as makeup, there is no history that ruined it. American culture might trickle to it one day... or in years to come, it won't be an issue as we'll all be dealing with aliens
Blackface and other racist shit DOESNT float my boat either, it was starting to be thought of as naff in Britain by the 70s and the Black and White minstrel show was pulled during the 70s due to the large number of complaints the BBC were getting.

Well, hopefully not anymore, but it clearly was in France during 1987...... This is a very old clip... Thankfully times have moved on since it was made.

I'd argue Bo Selecta was essentially blackface, being a white comedian made up as grotesque caricatures of black celebrities, and that was a lot more recent. Always found it weird that more people didn't have a problem with that...

Yeah never thought of bo selecta like that. Suppose it's cos it is quite funny although certain elements are dated but aye when ya think about it not too great. Even after bo selecta though Little Britain and Come Fly With Me both featured black face and that was in the noughties like
CarabineFM!! That one just HAS to pop up some day. Lolita is SO CUTE, exactly my type. And she takes, what? 3 pies in that trailer?
Well, considering that particular video is 11 years old, and nothing has "popped up" since, I'm saying the chances ain't likely. Maybe one of you should just buy the video they're advertising, and then share it here? Hmm....?
