So, last year I bought a gunge tank on ebay that had been used by a youth club. However I had understimated how tall it would be, and how heavy.
I am not the world's most practical man and I quickly realised it wasn't for me.
So, long story short...anyone who would like it can have it for free, provided they can collect it from the East Midlands.
It definitely needs a clean. It was sold to me as fully working but I would suggest it would suit a practical/d.i.y type person just in case it needs a bit of care and attention after a year in my garage.
I have had 3 enquiries, all quite reasonably asking for more measurements and/or pics
I will get those and respond to the 3 interested parties asap. I won't be entertaining any more offers for now as I want to give the 3 interested parties the opportunity to organise something concrete. Thanks for your interest and if nothing comes of the 3 enquiries, I will let everyone know.
Looks like its been made out of 2 IBC containers which are a fairly standard size. The base is the same size as a pallet, 1.2m x 1m and a height of 2 x IBC containers would be around 2.4m.
It would be quite easy to make another tank similar to this if you do miss out on this one and IBC containers are usually very cheap to pick up.
