So... yesterday I drove over 3 hours to pick up my girl at the airport. We had a meeting, I spent the night and this morning we had a series of meetings over breakfast and brunch with clients, potential clients, and then a few of our partners. I wore this dress at a St. Louis hotel for almost 4 hours during those meetings and then dropped my girl off at the airport and drove home. Exactly three hours and 48 minutes after leaving the airport, this is what I did! The rest of the pics are on my profile but just a note... it was almost impossible to take this dress of by myself after it was soaked. I really thought I'd have to cut myself out of it!
And to be perfectly honest, I did change my heels when I got home. I actually wore a pair of 1" bone white soft leather heels all day which are very hard to find and I never get them wet.
And finally, the results of the poll are in... camisole 6 votes, medium slip 7 votes, full slip 9 votes, cocktail dress 16 votes, and business suit 20 votes. So it looks like I will be power washing my deck in a power suit! Stay tuned, I will try to get that done this week for all you beautiful people!
I have only had this dress a little over a year. This was the third time I ever wore it in public though I have worn it in the shower more than that lol! It feels GREAT wet, very heavy and it stays wet longer than most of what I wear but I was afraid that from your guys point of view, it does not look nearly as wet as it is. Most of the pics came out shiny tho.
Forgot to mention how sexy sight is when there is a hint of suspenders underneath the dress (bumps) and having business meetings it that kind of attire.
I've wore them under dresses and skirts from the beginning. Even when I was in the military all through the 80's which actually had a serious purpose... a run meant being out of uniform, seriously, so we all kept a pair of stockings in our purse or desk. Changing one stocking was easier that changing pantyhose. Then an entire career in an office for 30 years afterwards so it's really more of a habit than anything else.
But yes, 45 years of showing the bumps" drives men, and the right women, crazy! It's kind of powerful, you know?
