I am curious about it; I wonder how much is accurate, embellished or downright lies? I'm not going to buy it as it's not the kind of thing I want to own but if any of my friends get a copy I may set-a-side a wet weekend for it.
Also, I wait for the Tango-tyrant's supporters on here to pipe up and steal the memes that always follow.
There are numerous named contributors, acknowledgements and quotes which certainly add to the believability of the book, also the author (Wolff) had West Wing access for quite some time.
Likewise, the staffing turnovers and refusals to accept offered positions, which have been plentiful in this administration's early days, are explained and in so doing provide some confirmation of the events which lead to them.
I found the book enlightening, frightening and hilarious!
The one exception I had was the author's accepted understanding that the Syrian government forces attacked the rebel-held town of Khan Sheikhoun with chemical weapons, which most, with any access to news outside the Western Press, would happily debate. But who ever was responsible for this attack *cough*US*cough* is not really within the scope of or relative to the book's main premise.
I can certainly understand why this administration wants the book banned!
Too late
btw, it's available in digital for about $15
"as it's not the kind of thing I want to own"
Curious as to why, are you afraid of the book police?
