I had a very spirited discussion with my best girls the other night about what we all think guys think of female pubic hair. Most of us shave all or partially and it's done for a mix of us (I'm like hair + period = SUPER ICK) and our mates but... what do you guys actually think?
Also bizarre personal reason for me: I love to wear white panties and it just looks so strange when there's a black visible through them (thick Asian hair extends to the nether regions too). Plus I have this bizarre strange nightmare that I'm going to get soaked and end up with my pants off and everyone is going to see how unkempt I am.
I mean, I am happy if anyone shares with me at all. But for purposes of the poll and preference I went with shave it bare.
I know women don't like choking on ball hair either, so I do my best to keep things smooth or nice and short. And from what limited experience I have had, my partner has always felt things (like my tongue) more acutely when there isn't a rain forest in the way.
Personally my least favorite is bare. I can't get it out of my head that an adult (male or female) should have hair down there. You can trim the hedge, but don't remove it entirely. Makes me feel like a pedo when it's nothing, but everyone can do whatever they want with their down stairs hairs.

Truthfully it doesn't matter too much because guy hair isn't on the parts where my mouth is going to go, so unless it's REALLY long and scraggly, male pubic hair isn't too big a deal. At least, I've never had an issue with it.
And trying to make it more pleasant for my guy (or girl!) when he's giving me oral is a big goal. I do shave more for me because I really do find it icky in general (because pee soaked hair too? ICK ICK ICK). I can't comment on the different feeling because I've shaved it bare as long as I've been sexually active. I think if he's licking me on my labia, then it would make a big difference because the wetness transfers to my skin when I'm bare and that's a good feeling. But if he's all on my clit, then it's not going to matter either way.
I think there's nothing wrong with a woman having a little hair "down there." Whether or not I'm into it depends on my mood, but usually I don't mind. In fact, there are times when I find myself drawn to women with a full bush. In the end, however, it's her choice. I'm not going to force a woman to shave or not shave because it's not my place to tell her what to do with her body.
Good hygiene is most important to me. Some people can get pretty sweaty down there (especially in hot months) if there is too much hair and then it can begin to smell. So for me, a good trim or shave is preferable. I do the same with my own body. I find it to be respectful to each other.
