"Female News Anchors Pied by Mascot on Live TV"

I seem to recall an interview with her some years back where she expressed her displeasure about being pied so much on Nickelodeon. I was surprised to learn that, given that she always seemed to be a fairly decent sport about it, but you never really know people on TV, I suppose.
God knows I hate to say anything good about anything produced for a Fox News program, but it must be said that this particular station has been pretty damn good to pie fans this fall. In the last few months alone, they've not only had the four women shown above pied, but at least three more beyond that! (Granted, one of them ended up doing the weakest of self-pieings, but the other two were solid.)
Here's a nice long look at what, for me, is the best of all seven. The reasons for this are several. This is the only one that was done "live" (i.e. not pre-filmed for later broadcast), it's the only one where the victim really deserved her pie (she'd previously pied a co-worker alongside Blue, and took great pleasure in it) and it's the only one where we get to see extended aftermath. Britt, the pie recipient, is on camera for a full 90 seconds after her pieing, taking a great deal of ribbing from her co-workers in very good stride. Post-pieing, Blue also gets the chance -- twice! -- to smear some of the shaving cream from Britt's hair onto her face.

That sucks to hear but I'm still hoping that she'll take one pie to the face on live tv, maybe for a good cause.

Her distaste for getting pied on that show was evident early on and only got worse. Honestly, the female interns who stepped up towards the end in her place were MILES better all around.

To be honest, I was trying to be diplomatic about it. She may have disliked it, but at least she did it without a whole lot of ducking and dodging. Better than some I've seen.

Yup I remember it was actually quite some time before she got pied. The reason I remember this well is that I would watch this after school from the beginning. In fact, I personally remember other kids in my school (non wammers I'm assuming) including a couple of girls complaining about how much of a wuss she is and how they would be better candidates for her job. I remember even hearing about literal fan mail complaints about it because it was so obvious she did her best, at least initially, to dodge all mess.
From what I understand she was originally just an extra or someone on the set before becoming a host, so that would explain her aversion to mess. I doubt someone who needed to stay clean would have applied for the position.
