I think the fake profile guy is back, it's the instagram type photos and the "I can usually accommodate and I can also travel" bit again, please tell me i'm wrong!
The profile was https://umd.net/pj93 . The pictures did match an Instagram account.
It is possible that someone might use their own instagram photos. It seems very fishy to me though when every single photo is a photo that came from IG.
I don't want to make it seem like we are rejecting people. We just need to watch out. There are plenty of catfish and scammers out there. They may not even be after your money, but instead they are just a waste of your time if you think there is any possibility of a meetup because they have "Find others to meeting up with" selected on their profile and mention meeting up in their bio.
As advice for people creating their umd profile, it might be best to not use public photos from IG, Twitter, Reddit, or other social media. It isn't hard to create a unique selfie that is meant for your umd profile.
Imposters Any attempt to take on a false persona is forbidden. You may use images that are from the public domain or that you have permission to use, but trying to trick users into thinking you're the person in the photograph when you're not will get your account removed.
It might not be against the rule to use a public photo of someone as your profile picture, but if you are claiming to be that person then you are an imposter. Like Kelsey Rose was. A person with a single photo that tricked so many people on this forum. People don't like imposters.
