Hi all,

I wanted to ask if anyone has any images they'd be willing to share/videos they know of with at least one good "face down in pie"-ing...

...by which I mean, the person either has their face pushed down into a pie, or else they slump/lower their face forward into a pie. And, preferably, stay that way for a moment or two.

I've seen a few over the years and there's just something both playful/fun AND sexy about it; i think there's an added layer of "what will it look like/will their expression be when they lift their face again"?

There's a really hot pic of WAMprincess Clare with her face in a pie (turned somewhat to the camera) with someone's foot pushing her head down into the pie.

Sorry, I don't have the means to post that, I'm fairly technically challenged. But I'll bet there are several people on here who know what pic I'm referring to. Maybe one of them can post it.

And there is a pic from Janet & JD that was posted a while back, with Janet's cute face pushed into a cake while she's sitting at a table. It looks fabulous! I think there might be a vid from that session coming sometime in the future.

Those two came to mind immediately.

Thanks Norman! I knew one of the stalwarts/eagle-eyes would have my back here... Both sound wonderful.

There were a couple of good ones on Hurley's old clip tapes, but I'd almost love to find more "home made/custom" etc. than commercial clips, but I will take what I can find.

One of my favorite such scenes is from the 1967 movie "Tammy and the Millionaire" with Debbie Watson, although it's with a cake not a pie. Unfortunately there is a kid in that scene, but I have done my very best to crop him out in this smesstube clip:

I couldn't believe it when she fell in the mud in the pigsty towards the beginning of the movie, and then the face in the cake was the, erm, icing on the cake!

She got pretty messy with the frosting!

I love those cake scenes in theory... I've never had great luck recreating them with the kind of coverage I want, however. (I suspect the old Hollywood "hot lights" probably helped with coverage... Those cakes were far gooier than usual after sitting there for hours....)

That said, Shelly pulled off a good one with a running dive/fall into one... Complete with flailing arms and whatever. And Toshia had a great one too, albeit into a bowl of slime rather than a cake/pie.

Ah, that cake scene! I had a flashback, i must've seen at least that scene/portion of the movie on tv when i was a kid, wow... right up there with the Electric Company pieings and early YCDOTV.

And this is why i love Rich -- i really appreciate your honesty about trying to recreate it a certain way and not being able to. I think it's likely a matter of the "awkward/stiff/set-up-y" nature of the whole thing. I mean, let's face it, classic pie scenes often are, with a cart or a tin waiting barely out of frame.

That said, i have that pink goo bowl one, it's amazing.

That last one, the running pie -- it looks daring enough a stunt that you've just convinced me i need to purchase!

It's SS130 Scene 1, and it's definitely daring. The type of thing where you need the right type of "fearless" model... And that's Shelly (and not really anyone else, sadly). When I suggested it, she was basically like, "Okay, so I'll take a running start and throw myself into the cake?" I'm literally breaking her fall using the cake as support.

Since other producers are tooting their own horns, I thought I would chime in about our face plants. Check out our "The Customer is Always Right" series, it features some of the best face plants in the biz.

i actually own the first one (a classic!), but was not aware of the others. I love for some reason the sea-green outfit/"casual" nature of the face-push in the one, and then the topless nudity in the other -- look like "must owns". Thanks, MG! xo

This man knows what I'm talking about -- that's exactly it. There's a couple of great (at this point) "old school push/faceplants" in the HOUSE OF PIES stuff, but only a select few would know of that series, so... But you got it.

I tracked down those GIF's and another one that's on point. The originals were a bit slow and a few MB's heavy, so I edited them to play at a normal speed.

This I my absolute favorite type of hit! I'm just very surprised that more producers don't use it in the scenes. It adds a different dynamic to the typical "sitting there getting pied" scene. If you are also fans of the face down pie then speak with your wallets and get to ordering scenes that already have them in it so producers can see that there is a demand!
