I still don't get why we (Australia) participate. Is it because of the Commonwealth?

Think its because the Aussies loved it so much and kept pestering to participate, so they let them 'have a go' as 'special guests' - it was so successful you've stayed!

We (UK) will do badly - as usual! (kind of a tradition!) - but our song this time is even more dreadful than usual haha.
