Ok so I posted before about nice solid pie hits and also working with the right models. Well, I have to cut London a bit of a break here. Although she's done plenty of pie vids before with her sister, they were all super lame hits.
So I told Kody to nail her sister. Well....obviously you can see London's reaction - lol. Yeah...you can't anticipate the hit!

Man I'd have no idea how to even make slime. These are just graham cracker crusts, shaving cream with chocolate syrup. I don't even know how to make pies - lol.

Right? She's absolutely wonderful to work with. I'm shooting her, her sister and Macy on Wed and Macy has agreed to take a pie at the end of our regular shoot - so I'll post it here for fun. It'll just be one pie hit.

This....this is why I'm not a pie producer and really give props to those who are. It's a tough gig.

Yes, Kody is amazing to work with and I'm shooting with her, her sister and Macy on Wednesday. I'll get a very short one-pie scene in and post it here Thurs.
Thanks - I got a small script hammered out. Don't expect too much - shooting at Homewood Suites which has a living room and kitchen and no, I'm not buying a ton of plastic - don't have time for that.
So it'll just be one hit in the kitchen and I'll just have to deal with the clean-up. I might have to tell Kody to not totally annihilate Macy so I don't have shaving cream, crust and syrup all over the kitchen walls.
I do want to provide just what I consider an example of "mean girl pies another girls, who's then pissed." If you all do indeed like it, I can schedule a longer shoot but I'd tend to want to work outdoors.
Man I just want to say thanks for sharing! If you can figure out a good way to keep your production costs down, you could probably do ok adding pie stuff to your other fetish material. You might be hitting a section of pie fans that have been waiting for stuff like this. Looking forward to more, cheers!
I'm psyched to hear about this upcoming experiment! Loved both of the short clips you shared, especially the one with Macy and Kody. I personally wouldn't call either of them good "actresses" based on what I've seen so far, but they are both very enthusiastic and animated in their line delivery and body language, and that is one of the most crucial aspects of a pie video for me. And of course, they are both very attractive, which is another huge plus.
I'm all for the "just a few pies" ethos you expressed in the other thread too -- or even less than a few, in my case. One of my all-time favorite WAM producers was a guy who went by PieJinx first and later PiesNextDoor. He only made videos for a couple years in the mid-aughts; everything he sold (with one or two exceptions) were collections of about 5-7 very short "blackout" skits, each lasting somewhere between 30 and 60 seconds and ending with a single pie to the face. (The one hit per scene was always a great one, though. Not sure how he got such consistently great pie hits, I'm not sure any other producer has ever equalled him in consistently great first hits.)
As for making slime. I really don't think you can go wrong with a large amount of white cake mix and warm water with food coloring. Works like a charm and is tasty. I think most people would agree this is the basic slime recipe.
Expecting fantastic acting ability from most models is a recipe for disappointment. I've found that they less they say, the better off the shoot is. I think you'll see tomorrow that I keep the lines very short.
But Robby nailed it with a lot of what I like....don't anticipate the pie - not a huge fan of when the model closes her eyes tightly before the pie comes at her. Definitely have a reaction. I prefer a "I can't BELIEVE you just pied me" reaction and also like Robby said, don't ham it up. Over-acting is a big problem and can ruin the shoot.
And that's the issue with shoot pie vids. You have one shot at it. Yeah, you can rehearse, but just like the boxing saying "everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face."
I've done pie vids before where we'd done, like 10 practice runs. Then when when they actually get hit with the pie, it's nothing like we rehearsed.
Oh well, wish me luck on it. I'll post it here tomorrow.
