Ha! I've always loved that video Probably one of the reasons I got into WAM in the first place... There are a lot of WAM things in Euro videos apparently. Check these out! Just realized the WAM elements in these videos today... I've been listening to DD since I was a kid & have all their albums. Love love love.

Thank you Goodwrench! Remember wanting to see this when it came out, but was never able to and had forgotten about it since. Love the mud wrestling at 5:35 -- mud isn't the best but still works for me! Also around that time I remember seeing a version of Pat Benatar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" featuring lots of mud wrestling. Have looked for it several times with no luck. Guess it could have just been a feature on mud wrestling with the track laid over it (maybe one for the "Famous Lost Mainstream Mud Scenes?" thread).
OK, that shows my age a bit, but I feel a bit younger seeing that Jilly likes a band that I actually like too! Wouldn't expect such chaotic wam from such a mellow band like Air. Thank you Jilly!
Air & Duran Duran are on my top 10 favorite artists/bands of all time... Air is probably #2 (sElf being #1) and Duran Duran is around the end of the spectrum but only because I can't forgive them for 2004's "Astronaut."
In fact, I've used Air in a million of my videos because they're just perfection *sigh* I can't think of a single soul who wouldn't love Air.
It just made me squeal with delight to see some WAM in the videos, even if it was just a minute of it
P.s. Anyone else think the chick in the first video looks a little like Mrs. Bee? I did.

I'm thinking this was one of the various PM Magazine segments on mud or pudding wrestling during the '80s fad.

I. FUCKING. LOVE. BOARDS!!! I convinced my boyfriend to listen to the latest album by saying "If Heaven does indeed exist, this would be the album playing on a loop..." My favorite being "Palace Posy" (anagram for "apocalypse." They're cool even down to their song titles.) and "Cold Earth." They chill you to the bone, and not just some trippy, chill-out stuff, I mean chills. Goosebumps, a sinking feeling in your chest, sheer awe. It's a musical opioid.
Sorry, all of that was off-subject, so I'll think of some more WAMdom videos to post when I can find some good ones ^_^
