I was ready to be, "PLEASE let's not start another thread about a kids' show where kids get messy, on this porn fetish forum....."

But hell, this IS good news. I didn't recognize the name but I knew Liza instantly from her pic. She's been both pied on TRL and well-slimed at the KCAs, and both times she looked like she was loving every second.
Considering that ol' Marc HATED getting messy.... and got destroyed on numerous occasions regardless..... I gotta think Liza is due for something. How good and how frequent will probably come down to the producers, not her. (And based on my kid recollections, the crew didn't REALLY start destroying Marc until years into the show.)

I think there's a much better chance of her getting messy in promos, rather than the show itself, so stay peeled for those. (At least we live in an age where promos live online and don't require round-the-clock taping of a channel.) Unless they make her getting messy a regular part of the show (shades of STL and that Jonah idiot).... That would rock.

FTR, let's also remember Summer Sanders got slimed exactly once in the years of hosting FIO. It was a solid sliming, but still.... No guarantees with this stuff. (Ryan Seacrest also stayed 100% clean hosting that Wild Animal Games show from a century ago.... )

Double Dare was never a great show for mess, keep in mind. Unless you're all about slime, in which case it was still pretty bad.

It doesn't really allow for audience members or non-team members to get messed, unlike WWYD or STL. (or heck, even Family Challenge second season).

This is mostly interesting to me just cause maybe it marks the return of the "messy game show" that hasn't been in style for a good while...unless you count Spanish shows, I guess.

I mean, UK audiences have been cutting out kids for a decade.
For a while there, the ONLY UK clips were from shows like Ministry of Mayhem (where that Holly bird DID get nicely gunged a lot), which were basically TISWAS updates. Shows ostensibly for and featuring kids, but getting the adults messy a lot.

There is a great clip of her getting slimed not once but TWICE at the kid's choice awards and the second sliming is full coverage: face/hair and everything. I am not gonna link to it as there may be kids in the peripheral audience towards the first sliming but if you go on youtube and search "Liza Koshy SLIMED - Twice!! [Full scene 1080p HD]" that is the clip and it is posted by user Slippery Skin. It is actually pretty neat as she seems to be having a ton of fun too!

Yeah, and DD won't be that. But it could be the start of a revival...?
Now that NICK cut ties with their own Harvey Weinstein and all his shows, they're scrambling for content. Suspecting most of it will still be cartoons tho.

(Also, let's remember STL aired 5 days a week, and most of those shows were either male stuff or missed opportunities. Some great scenes over the years but SOOO much frustration in real time.)

I don't really follow this stuff, but I know Dan Schneider, who clearly has a foot fetish and was likely banging underaged girls for awhile... Nickelodeon gave him the boot, though? Was it around the Weinstein-gate era a halfyear back or so?

There's plenty of stuff online (most unsubstantiated) about the horrific stuff he pulled as the director/boss/authority figure of all these underage actresses. Take it with a grain of salt, but "father of the child Jamie Lynn Spears had at 16" is.... ICK.
