I purchased a video from Wamshorts over a week ago. The link I was sent was invalid. I have sent over 5 emails to them asking for help but it has been crickets. Really irritating. Don't waste your time or money with them!! Really disappointed.
I've never heard of WAMShorts.... Did you buy through Vidown or UMD? You can contact either Soundguy (Vidown) or MessMaster (UMD) regarding an invalid link and they can either fix the issue or refund your money. It might be as simple as a broken link.... or perhaps the clip was deleted but the listing wasn't. (I had to do that a while back in the UMD when a model's clips were pulled for personal reasons, but the "bundle" still existed even after the clips were deleted until we caught it.)
Also, from a bystander standpoint, I'm very curious how long this post stays up.... given that certain "big name" producers are able to get negative posts about their work deleted right away. I'm betting WS doesn't have that kind of pull tho.
It was off their site. I did pay with Pp so I think I have some recourse there.
I, too am wondering how long it will stay up but it's been a bad experience so I think others need to know. I just gave a glowing review for Jayces new video. I'm an equal opportunity reviewer.
It had been stated many times that there is a section for posting a review for content here on UMD and posts are taken down for other reasons than you assume , IE violating the TOS of this site. If your just posting a complaint here your already posting in the wrong place , for starters you should contact MM or Sound guy directly, if there is anything they can due to help you they will. I had a complaint about a scene I bought on here , wrote a not so nice review because of it the review was not posted BUT MessMaster and I talked and he reached out to the said party with no luck so he made it right. All it not lost , but HOW you handle this will determine what happens next. Also assuming that this thread will just get deleted is silly It may get locked so that this can be handled in a respectful manner instead of a flame war. Take what you will my issue was resolved via MM not a flame post so.

SStuff, we've talked extensively in private about why I made those moves. I gave you that respect, and at the time, you seemed to understand all the thought and context that went into everything: It never has anything to do with WHO the producer is, but rather the legal exposure that I'm personally left in and other contextual details. I explained all of that to you over and over, but if we're still not at an understanding, then we can have more discussions, in public if need be. It's just that we're all too grown for these little insinuations. That's what spreads disinformation and I'm not having that here. Speaking in bad faith is one of the few things that will get someone banned from here. If you have a question or suggestion, then I'm right here dude. But otherwise, drop it.
I think I vaguely remember some promo for it, though not much recently that I noticed. ISTR when they launched I thought the name meant they'd be having girls wearing shorts getting them filled with stuff, which would have appealed to me, but they turned out to be just standard head-focused gunging.
Another one I've been wondering about is http://www.muddygirlsworld.com/ - though site is still up lots of broken links and images - anyone know if they are still in business?

In this case, I feel this is relevant as the OP made these purchases from outside of UMD or Viddown. But UMD is a central hub for everyone to discuss WAM/Splosh and share information and experiences (both positive AND negative). In this case the OP wants to know if other people have dealt with this producer and also that they have had ZERO luck in a legit time frame to rectify their issue.
I know of Wamshorts, but I haven't seen them post anything here in quite some time. I don't know what their situation is, but if they have content not working, and don't plan on rectifying it, they should take their site down. At the very least, take down their payment processor.
Your best bet is to contact the payment provider at this stage. They will be able to test the link connections their end, see there is a problem and refund you. Also, they can temporarily disable the payment links whilst the issue is ongoing to stop others having the same problem which will benefit both customer and merchant.
FWIW, I've bought a lot of stuff from them without any issues. However he hasn't produced anything new for a while and maybe he's just doing other stuff and not checking email regularly. Not sure the public roasting is really appropriate and I wanted to give a balancing opinion that I've always found this producer to be a good guy.
Wamshorts hasn't been online since April 2018, but I've sent them a message that you're looking to get ahold of them. Wayne Kerr, if you have time, please attempt to contact them on UMD as well, so I have some record here that an attempt was made. I'll do whatever I can to help you get your video or a refund.
If they don't get back in touch with you, they'll have to be removed as a trusted custom producer. Please let me know via inbox how it goes.
I purchased some stuff from them about a year ago, in the end got my money back from PayPal after they didn't respond, had emailed several times but didn't get a reply until weeks later.

This is a really good idea, and I'm glad you thought of it. This will help keep other people from falling into the pitfall of trying to order from a defunct site too!
