I've seen very little content on here featuring Coconut oil. I know it's more expensive than baby oil or vegetable oil, but it has several advantages, and I wonder how may people know about it.
For starters, it's MUCH easier to wash off than either veg oil or baby oil. It also has a 'thicker' feel to it, which is a very nice sensation, yet still retains the slipperiness of other oils.
At room temperature, it may become a solid paste, but a quick warmup in the microwave will turn it into a liquid - just be careful not to overheat it and risk getting burned.
QUESTION: Have you tried coconut oil? What did you think?
It's wayyyy to expensive here in the UK around £1 per 100g on average for me to consider it a wam substance. I think of it along the lines of honey, it's too precious to waste especially since its great for curly hair.
Wam is very wasteful, it's the nature of our fetish but since covid I have tried to make more ethical choices with substances like using yellow gunge instead of custard. Nothing beats the real thing but instead of honey use syrup. We don't grow coconuts in the UK so probably why it costs so much. I think our alternative would be lard I remember my mum in the 80s slathering Lard on to sit in the sun !

Also very expensive here in Canada. It's probably about 6 times the cost of vegetable oil, maybe more. I had bought some for a different purpose and wound up not using it.
Coconut oil is SO GOOD! I absolutely love it. You can get the emulsified form that stays liquid at room temperature. Get a nuru bedseet, a bottle of coconut oil, and have an insane time with your partner. I have done it a lot and for oil/lubes, it can't be beat!
Replied with 'use it regularly' because I add some to makeup removal wipes to make them work better and moisturize a bit. It's super effective on mascara and eyebrow pomade, I highly recommend!
I had no idea coconut oil had any uses relating to the topic of this forum.
