I've bought quite a few of them directly from cocoa-soft (which now seems to have become http://www.talaat.net/ ) and haven't ever had any problems except for them being a little picky on email addresses that they will take (no yahoo addresses for example).
The only complicated part (and not really that complicated) is figuring out what you are actually paying beings the prices are in yen. Some credit cards may charge a currency conversion fee (usually less than a dollar).

Yeah I paid through my debit a few years ago from their site, and my bank put a hold on the purchases because it was in yen which was a whole headache. So yeah just be mindful of that when going directly through their site. Overall I can not say anything bad about their content. Some of the best videos I have ever purchased.
