Hey everyone!

So my husband and I got to thinking how there are so many classic and popular videos from many of the great, early producers that are no longer creating material. So we thought it would be a cool idea to hear from all of you!

* If you could see a scene reproduced with different models but the same mess/general story line, what would it be!? *

If this topic takes off, I would be into attempting to recreate some of the more popular videos discussed. I know it wouldn't be the same, as it would be hard to capture the nostalgia, exact consistency of substances used, etc. but I think it would be interesting to try and re-make a video that had the input of the entire community here! Even if other bigger producers wanted to get on board, it could be extremely fun!

This sounds like an awesome idea. There have been a lot of scenes I wish were either available or not on video but only pictures. If I can get a chance to give ideas and examples I will definitely do so.

Just to name a few!

There are so many I would like to see recreated. Especially from Rob Blaine. I just really loved his style. I can't help but mention him because he really inspired what I like to see.

I recently made a post about a specific concept he featured in a lot of his videos: https://umd.net/groups/messy-hair-body-interaction-between-two . I recently asked for customs of this. It felt a little wrong because I was asking one producer to reproduce another producers ideas.

I would love to see a 1 hour long pudding bath scene like Amanda's solo. A nice and slow scene that really focuses on the build up, anticipation, and sensation.

It still feels almost wrong to reproduce content, but maybe it is ok because it might cause people to check out and buy the older classics. I could imagine some producers would like to see there scenes reproduced while others may not. Maybe permission is required to reproduce it if it is intended to be very close to the original. It might be hard to ask for permission from a retired producer. Also maybe we shouldn't mention the classic producers who are still producing like MessyGirl. The videos clearly say not to reproduce the content hehe. I might be overthinking it.

I have to second Rob Blaine's work! As the demographics here get younger, I'm afraid less and less people know his name/work A favorite for me was the 12 Girl Pie Fight from his Liquid Ladies video. Think I still have some photo prints from that stashed away somewhere. Not to be negative, but I don't know that productions of that scale or caliber are possible these days (at least not profitably from a sales standpoint).

He did an excellent job with it in my opinion. And even within Rob's 12 Girl Pie Fight scene I mentioned, there was a homage to The Great Race with the one lady's outfit.

I must agree, Ariel's Pie Shop is one of my all time favorite scenes, hands down!

Ariel's Pie Shop, the 12 girl pie fight and "Pie Wedgies" -- all Rob Blaine -- are forever burnt into my memory.

I think at least one person has done a "remake" of Ariel's Pie Shop?

There's a magic to those videos that probably never can be recaptured, partially because of how they were made (meaning the cameras/look of things), and the girls/acting.

BUT, i really do applaud this concept and your efforts; i mean, hey, if it works well enough for Hollywood...

I'll be really curious to see what people come up with beyond the Rob Blaine stuff and some early Messygirl stuff.

You are so right! I own all three of those movies including several more from the GREAT Rob Blaine. Splatgirl is an underrated masterpiece too!!

With regards to WAM classics, this is a very hard decision to make, as over the years there has been a plethora of amazing videos produced, by a number of people.

I agree with others in the thread that there were some amazing videos produced by (the mighty) Rob Blaine for Messy Fun. Ariels Bake Sale, the 12 Girl pie fight, The slapstick pie fight in At The Messy Movies, and Pie Wedgies all superb. Splatgirl also has very good Messy content but seems to fly under the radar (sorry).

We also have the Awesome Messygirl, who has brought us so many fantastic WAM videos, to choose out the best is a monumental task in itself.

Then there's Lenny, with his pie/pudding scenes, again hard to decide.

I also can't end without, of course mentioning the epic work that was done by(The one and only) Bill Shipton. His Splosh videos (and magazine) was a complete game changer in WAM terms. Again some, absolutely awesome scenes within his videos. To pick out (I will this time), The news read out by Rachel Stevens (buxom WAM legend) in Gooey Girlies.
The 21st Birthday party (Robyn Dare, Sammy-Jane and Karen Partington) again ftom Gooey Girlies.
The restaurant scene (Louise Hodges and Sammy-Jane) from Pretty Clumsy Woman.
The story time reading (Karen Partington and Amanda Long/Hughes) from Juicy Pairs.
And the epic Gunge Hill (and Return to Gunge Hill) scenes. To say just a few.

We then have WSM Productions, who have been bringing us great Wet, Messy Fun for over 40 years!! Lots and lots of videos and then films like WSM TV. Mucky Kind of Magic and Wheel of Misfortune.

We then have Artscene/Aquantics, with Mary Hell: Custard Case, the epic pie scene in Nightmare on Gunge Street, Messy western, A Few Dollops More to name a few.

So as you can see, to choose scenes to recreate from a classic is sooooo hard. However, I'm fully on board we seeing what happens, and then classics reborn MessQueen style.

- I also Iike to see Messygirl recreate two of my favorite videos, the first being any current model taking a bucket of clay and transforming herself into a clay statue like Messygirl Nikki. The Second, using that grey mud and those tubs and having any current model taking a clay bath
- I dont know who this model is but something similar where she starts fully clothed but winds up nude and fully covered in an outdoor clay pit.

Undoubtably it would be Pie wedgies!! One of the best films and beautiful women, I think it could be achievable!!

Wow!! this is awesome, I didn't expect this much of a response so quickly! As for getting permissions from other producers for recreating, if this is something that takes off, I would obviously seek the permission of the original owner (if possible) before hand. This topic came up from a few messages I received about making customs of older videos, thought it would be a cool idea to bring the conversation to the whole community!

I figured the MessyFun stuff would be the most requested, as this is what got many of us into WAM to begin with. Recreating the 12 girl pie fight and pie wedgies would be quite the undertaking, especially for me because I wouldn't even know where to start to get 12 girls lol.

It's interesting to hear what scenes all of you love! lets keep it going!

I wish some of Ariel's WamBabe's classics could be recreated.

(I was debating whether or not to mention this. I don't know the full story or the sentiment here.)

The photography was amazing but the videos were average at the time. I just missed the style of seeing a girl making cute pin up style poses between the shutter noise of a SLR.

So it might be fun to create a video with a similar style. A fixed camera position, but make sexy poses for the photographer.

MessyHot has a similar style which has both photography and video, and the models pose for photos. It is really nice seeing vibrant cake frosting colors and the detailed texture of cake on a girl in photography.

Seeing photography brings nostalgia for me. I would come to this site just to enjoy the preview photos from photo sets. I would collect them all. I still have my collection.

I always thought Celeste was super cute. Even better when she was mudwrestling in WHITE lingerie!

I would suggest recreating one of pie fight girls scenes called "The Piece". Where you are a thief or a spy who has been captured and to get you to tell where "The Piece" is, you are covered in pies.

Rob Blaine (Messy Fun) started it all in the US with his quarry mud videos filming in mudptis I provided him with the locations for. Those locations are unique and there is very little else that has been filmed in similar locations other than a few by Phil Holland (Dirty Muse). You want to reproduce those first classic Messy Fun scenes, you're going to need quarry mud and that is a lot of hassle, not to mention you've got to locate new places like that. Need a quarry to film at, give me a holler,,..

Yep, the reason many of Rob Blaine's videos were "how they were" was because Rob (even for the time), was *extremely* obsessive compulsive about shooting and editing his videos. I vaguely recall him saying in an e-mail where I asked a few questions back in 1999 that the Ariel's Pie Shop shoot took roughly eleven hours and they were shooting extremely late into the day. Neil of PieFightGirls said the three girl pie fight at the end of At the Messy Movies (which he assisted filming for), started shooting at 4PM and wrapped at three in the morning the following day. Rob also said in that e-mail that setting up one particular shot of Kassandra taking a pie to the face in Ariel's Pie Shop took almost twenty minutes. So, that kind of attention to detail is what made a lot of those movies the iconic scenes they are, even today. It still makes me sad to think of what he could have done with UHD video cameras if his life hadn't been tragically cut short. That said, he left a heck of a legacy behind, and it would take a hell of a lot of work for a producer today to do a reboot of any of those shoots, I think. I too would love to see a modern take on Ariel's Pie Shop, Tawny and Frenchy's slips pie fight, and the liquid latex pie fight between Tiffany and Shaun. The Tiffany and Shaun one might be the easiest, because that was a quick eight minute scene that was used as a filler scene between longer scenes. I love reading this thread, brings back good memories.

A pudding bath scene messygirl style. The ones with Lexi and Liz were great.

Great post and it is definitely one of my bucket list ambitions to recreate the infamous final outdoor mud scene from A Few Dollops More one day.

Probably my favourite mud scene ever as it had everything - stunning WAM lady legends like Sammy Jane from Splosh, attrite, mud consistency (even though they did struggle to wash it off at the end so would try to make it a lot easier lol).

Would take a lot of organising and a hell of a lot of money to get it running - but would love to attempt it (maybe with a few others if they are up for it and on the same wavelength )

I didn't realize he took THIS long to film one scene. WOW!
Strictly from a comfort perspective, models start getting antsy after Hour 1.... depending on how covered they are, if they're wet/cold, if something's in their eye.....

The longest shoot I've ever done for one scene was 2+ hours, for the Jasmine & Friend Inequality skit, with a LOT of setups. And even Jasmine, who never complained at all.... Started getting annoyed after we passed Hour 2.
In short, if you can find a model willing to stay messy for 11 hours in 2023.... Better buy that PowerBall ticket, cuz your luck is insane.

Also, just to further throw the cold water of reality over exciting ideas: If you're trying to recreate the 12-girl Pie Wedgies clip in 2023, expect that to cost a minimum of $3000.

And if you wanna do it like Rob and shoot for hours? We're talking $10 or 20K.

Now you know why the new production trend is in the opposite direction: Very short, very quick clips. One angle, almost no edits, throw up a 2nd angle with the sides cut off, and done.
I mean, I spend 5 days editing down one scene and I absolutely wonder who I'm doing it for.... Because the marketplace definitely doesn't support the kind of meticulously created scenes that Rob used to make. (And that obviously inspired me, albeit on a smaller scale.)

A second and third on Rob Blaine's stuff. Just loved that. Also I was told by no less an authority than Wamma Lamma's Robby that so many vids that came after were just a variation on themes Rob had done. And for that matter from what I have seen variations on what Robby did as well.

There is a scene in Pie-A-Normal Activity where Kay is in a skimpy night gown and the door opens by itself. She goes to check it out and is pelted with pies. She quotes a bunch of lines from the 3 Stooges and does the famous self-pie then sticks out her tongue. It's just fun and man she looks great.

One of my favorite classics featuring one girl. My favorite was when she dipped her boobs in green cake batter. This has to be my #1 for MessQueen to try.

I loved the hair styles from the classics too! Big poofy hair, long bangs, long brushed hair, big curly hair. It was amazing seeing that hair transform into saturated and silky looking hair. I really liked the interaction with the hair and body.

The idea of reproducing this, the outfit, the hair, the flower patterned bedsheets, the amount and colors of substance, the order which it is applied, and everything else step by step for a 1 hour long scene - I would love this. I don't think I have even seen a 1 hour long scene featuring one girl since then.
