I had seen an edit of all the muddy footage on one of MK's cliptapes, but never the audience interviews and other interstitial stuff, which is kind of entertaining.

The brunette in the second match is Dyan Del Campos, who appears in one of the Las Vegas mud wrestling tournament videos and is one of the wrestlers in the opening credits of KISS MY GRITS (1982).

What I didn't realize until now, though, is that the blonde in the first match, Lilibet Stern (in the first photo below), actually had a legit acting career during the '80s -- she was on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS for a couple of years. Add her to the list of mainstream '80s ingenues like Susan Mechsner and Kristi Somers who paid their rent by getting messy at one of the LA mud wrestling nightclubs.

Man, vintage mud wrestling is the best.
Color, consistency, older-looking women, typically aggressive/competitive matches.
And REAL mud........

Not the 'shove and giggle' in an inflatable kiddie pool with brown water like we have now.

I remember when this show aired(my senior year in high school) I called out of work to watch it! It's weird to think I was into mud stuff back then, but my fetish has been narrowed down to pies.

It might be worth getting the entire series because there are several other wam scenes in that series where I only have an old VHS copy...a show where Sarah gets pied, a show where Sarah gets soaked by a water deluge on stage, and a show about mud football where the cheerleaders get muddy.

I, um, vividly remember an oil wrestling episode with Queen Kong when it originally aired when I was younger.
Definitely one of my first memories of discovering this fetish. This, 'Stripes' and the mudwrestling episode of 'Sheriff Lobo'.

I corresponded with Queen Kong about 10 years ago and she was kind enough to send me copies of some of her personal mud wrestling recordings. The lengthiest was the 1hr show she did when she challenged Football player Doug Franz in the early 80's. Her best mud wrestling footage is in the 1985 movie "Mugsy's Girls".
