I will keep my comment brief.

The men were out-pied (again) 9 to 5.

The men have not out-pied the women for 10 straight episodes.

The nine week tally is now:

61 males pied versus 26 females pied.

Again, these numbers can only be explained by the producers orchestrating the outcome. (More on that later.)

Lastly, those who were hoping that the female host might (FINALLY) receive a pie-ing on her birthday will be disappointed. This lady appears to have little sense of humor.

This has got to be a goof, right? Yeah...this show really SUCKS. Beautiful young women dressed to the nines and scantily, getting nailed with sticky pies, and getting gunged on a weekly basis. Yeah what dreck.

When is someone gonna pull a Mr. Slugworth and travel to Brazil, smuggle themselves back stage, and pilfer their pie recipe? This must be done.

A tip for you, stop caring about Chega Mais or any other game show . You should not create expectation about this game, nearly all game shows involving pie in the face with men team vs women team is like that(Chega Mais, Passa ou Repassa, Combate, BLN Competencia..). Unfortunately always men will get most of the pies, rarely will be different. I agree that some women of this games does not comply with the rules and I don't believe there will be changes. Stop caring, is the best way do not stress yourself out with these games. No one here can do something to change. I don't care about these games, I just want to see women taking pie, to me if one woman get pied great O/, if five women get pied great tooO/...
While you keep hoping something from Chega Mais or other game show, you will continue going through anger with this games. (I don't speak english fluently. so I used bing translator for help)

I'm now a little scared. That's placing way too much importance on a stupid game show.

I would say this is far more than a "stupid game show". In terms of mainstream WAM, and honestly probably WAM overall, this show is consistently delivering some of the greatest pie hits to some of the most beautiful and classy targets in all of recorded history.

So on that level, I would not write this show off or be too curious why there is a lot of enthusiasm and attention for this show.

The problem is this sense of both entitlement, that we're "owed" something and this puzzling attitude some people have about equality, as if somehow WAM hasn't historically always been slanted against males. Of course the show is rigged. Get over it, accept it for what it is, ignore the rest and be happy.

Just because something has always been a certain way doesn't mean it should be that way.

For the few here who enjoy digging a little deeper into the Chega Mais abyss watch this very short segment that I spotted from the August 23 episode.

Decide for yourself if this is evidence that some female Chega Mais models are being protected by the producers of the show from massively messy pie-ings extending beyond their face into their hair.

You may have to slow it down frame by frame to catch the evidence. (Begin your jokes about the Zapruder film now.)

The man walks towards the woman with pie in hand. He then turns to his right and looks at someone in the corner of the studio. (44m25s or click link below)

He's making eye contact with someone, perhaps a producer?

At 44m27s he twice gestures his left hand smoothly over his hair (as though he's combing his hair back) apparently asking for permission to extend the pie-ing into the lady's hair.

His eyes don't move. He's still looking at the same person.

At 44m28s he gives a very quick short nod, smiles and turns sharply towards the woman. He then points for the woman to sit down. His body language seems to indicate that he was just given approval by someone in the corner of the studio (a producer?) to pie her hair in addition to her face (which he proceeds to do in grand fashion).

Less likely explanations are that the man was hamming it up with the studio audience or playing to the camera. I don't think so. I believe the audience is in front of him, not to his right. The cameraman is also in front of him. It hasn't moved.

Is the requirement to receive approval from the producer to pie the women aggressively the explanation for the noticable decline in quality of female pie-ings?

Is anyone still editing these? I know that the female pieings are few and far between, so it would be nice to not have to wade through all the male crap to see them.

I appreciate the linking to these and condensing to see some of these great scenes, but seriously C.U .. I think you're looking a tad bit deeply it in for any of us to compete with such a dialog. As far as Wam on TV/movies, I'll take what I can get. Relax, buddy =p

Somehow, with an ominous thread title like "Chega Mais Recap. It's not good."
I was expecting a bloodbath, the studio littered with decapitated & disemboweled bodies, partially pied heads strewn across the stage floor, after things got out of hand when the on-air moderators did not properly control the proper male-to-female pie-in-face ratio.

Funny - with all this talk about the egregiously uneven unfair male/female pie ratio - I just don't like the quality of the pies, for some reason. They seem suspiciously "fake", although I cannot quite figure out why. Something in their secret recipe.

In recent episodes the pies appear much skinnier. Relatively flat. You can see the edges of the plate.

In early episodes most of the pies were overflowing. Mountainous. There was twice as much pie on each plate.

Is this by design? A lack of quality control? Indicative of inflation in Brazil?

I'd say that would be more "catastrophic" than "not good", as imagined scenarios go.

Like the majestic Andes mountains of Peru? Or the beautiful Amazon rainforest jungle? Ah, yes, sadly slowly dying. Except for the mountains of Peru: I assume they pretty much stay the same shape. Pie quality & quantity in Hispanic torta-na-cara games shows are the economic-environmental canary in the mudpit.
Stock exchanges around the world should have a board on their exchanges indicating Chega Mais pie height, from which all other economic indicators can be predicted.

Don't watch a tv show that enrages / frustrates you so much. Right? You know?
But, it's like an endless Richard Bey / Jerry Springer trainwreck: the mind cannot simply look away.

Now that I've read three of these Chega Mais threads, I'm just assuming that CU and Zoidberg are both on some REEEEEEEALLY good stuff.

Every one of these threads makes WAY more sense from that angle.
