Here are some pics from yet another classic from Fawn's vaults (also tragically no longer available to buy). I recall that no less an expert than Rich of Slapstick Stuff pronounced this scene a favorite.

ALOT of producers have attempted that YCDTOTV-type scene over the years, yet this remains probably my favorite. It has all the things I like:

1. Its a long scene with lots of mess.

2. Only one girl is messed while the other stays clean.

3. The clean one laughs at the humiliated one, who is pissed.

4. There seemed to be a script.

I think these 2 were sisters as well, weren't they?

Ah ha! and Ally video I've never seen.

Are we sure and certain there's where to buy this currently?


Ally was always a fun model.

Well, I really didn't think so when I posted this. But I just checked and was surprised to find there are a lot more WAMF videos up in the UMD store now than there were a few month back when I last checked. (Maybe it was more than a few months ago... but definitely no more than 7-8 months ago there was a point where I looked and there were only a few dozen of them available.)

Somehow I missed this comment earlier. I certainly never heard that Fawn and Ally were sisters, and I really doubt that this is the case. But if anyone else has heard this as well, please speak up!

The funny thing is, I never thought WAMF did a particular great job with doing a "faithful" replica of YCDTOTV. For starters, their slime was usually very smooth (and sometimes thin), and there wasn't much of it (usually a bowl versus a bucket), and a lot of times you could even see the pourer.
This is one of their better attempts, but even so I wouldn't necessarily say it's 100% faithful.

What *I* love about it is how well Fawn plays the "antagonist" role... which makes sense, as she'd been doing videos like this (on both the giving and receiving end) for years already. And Ally was just starting out and made the perfect foil. I can't tell how much of her "deer in the headlights" attitude is acting, but either way it works. She really does seem blindsided every time she gets slimed.

But yeah, these are probably the best pieings WAMF ever did. Two McCain pies (RIP) planted perfectly. Fawn kinda leads her, and Ally either forgets her line or genuinely doesn't know what's coming, and Fawn just clobbers her. It's actually a shame they only did 2 pies at the end... I could've watched Fawn hit Ally with pies all day.

I have to agree with Rich about this. I feel like WAMF was always pretty slapdash about recreating settings/scenarios of almost any kind, but I'm not sure that aspect was ever very important to me in the first place, and in any event, the WAMF models more than made up for any shortcomings of this sort in other ways.

As Rich points out, Fawn was a master at playing the WAM hostess/MC/instructor figure. She is especially good here in this video, and also in the various "training" videos where she was the teacher (my favorite one is where she trains Ally and Paris in the art of being pied -- right now this is available in photoset form in the WAMF UMD store, as well as in partial video form as part of Taste of Pie Vol. 6, but I've got the full original video, and it's wonderful. I've posted some screencaps below).

Meanwhile, Ally is great at playing the clueless WAM ingenue. As Rich said, it's hard to avoid the feeling that maybe it's not completely acting on her part, and she was able to continue to playing this kind of role pretty well for some time (as late as the "Lashful" clip anyway, which came during her brunette period.) From my point of view, the YCDTOTV video above and the pie training one pictured below, were probably her finest moments.

Fawn herself had way too many fine moments to count.

Look at the photos I've posted above from just one other video (Pie Training 2) and tell me there aren't many excellent hits from that one video alone.

After seeing this thread and remembering my particular like of Ally, I decided to stroll down memory lane and take a look through my old files for videos featuring her.

Surprise to me I discovered that I had apparently bought this video years ago and never got around to actually watching it...

So I've got the full Fawn/Ally Slime scene lol.

I'm not even 33, why has the dementia already started to set in?

It can be hard to keep track. At some point after they'd stopped producing new stuff (and when they had a non-UMD store), WAMF started selling a lot of their videos really cheaply, and I snapped up a lot of the ones I didn't already have. The thing is, at that point, some of them had somehow lost their audio tracks by this point (and some of the "Taste of Pie" comps had already come out with some of their excerpts also devoid of audio). I'm not complaining about this -- they always let you know this ahead of time which ones were missing sound, and these particular videos were marked down really low (like maybe $1-$2 if I'm remembering right).

But I see that some of these videos are up in their UMD store without any warnings about a lack of audio. I assume that means that these versions they're selling have the audio (one even references comments made by Fawn during the video in its description). If Fawn or anyone else out there connected to the store knows for sure that all the videos in the store have audio (or are noted as being silent if not), I'd love to know that. Some of these are good enough that I'd re-buy them at $4 a pop just to get them with the audio intact. Especially ones with Fawn, because she always had such natural, spontaneous, free-flowing dialogue.

There are actually tons of the old WAMF clips available in the Wam Watchers UMD store, many more than I realized when I made a series of tribute posts to their old videos. It's certainly not everything, unfortunately, and some of my very favorites are only available in partial form via the "Taste of Pie" compilations (don't know if there are also slime comps or not). But there are over 250 to choose from there.
