After many years of wanting to have a go in one. I now have the opertunity to build my own. We'll sort of.

My main problem has been how to support the tank above your head but I may have found a way around this by using the support beams in a garage. From there I think you can just use some wood to bridge across the bigger gap and put the tank on there.

I will have some tarpaulin to go around the sides to stop the slosh from going out of the collection pool.

My main question is regarding hole diameter and how to cut that through a plastic storage box

Diameter: Depends on speed and thickness of gunge. 2 inches will give a good stream for thickish gunge.
