I'm a believer in balloons filled with anything. Water, cream, pudding. We need more balloons in WAM.

We used about a dozen filled with paint and coloured water in our last film (and eggs with the shells softened in vinegar so they can be thrown). We wanted to make more but the problem is filling the balloons - as you can't just pour the substance in - it must be pumped. And without bursting the balloon doing so.
I'm also a big fan of balloon wam. The simplest way to fill a balloon with gunge is to use a plastic soft drink (soda) bottle - put the gunge into that first, put the balloon's opening over the end of the bottle, and turn it upside down. Depending on how thick the gunge is, it should flow in, or might need you to squeeze the bottle. You'll likely also need to hold the balloon nozzle in place. You can also just use a funnel - the gunge flowing in will likely stretch the balloon out, unless youa re using really small balloons.
Also, when using gunge-filled balloons, I've found the gameshow technique of dropping the balloon onto something sharp (tack on a headband, for instance) produces a better result, as the gunge will be falling down when the balloon pops.
Sure and in that case you can use larger balloons and helium balloons (thicker) so they don't pop prematurely. Can be hard to pop though, so good Idea there
