It's a long weekend here in the USA, and the wife and I plan to get messy! But we need your help and tell us what's your favorite pie recipe. We currently use real whipping cream with a little cake batter on the bottom for extra color.

Pie + Face.
Repeat.

There's none better than what you're doing now. If you can make time for all the whipping - stick with it.

Sounds like you guys have a great recipe now, Hell I want to try it! But adding pudding is always a good idea too!

or instead of cake batter in the bottom you could try frosting

I like to add something to the heavy cream to blend it together. Marshmallow fluff, cake icing, sugar, pudding or cake mix, peanut butter, pumpkin pie filling, chocolate sauce but prefer actual melted chocolate, or cream cheese.

You'll have to try a shaving cream pudding pies one day! Just as many color mixing and consistency options (adding water to the SC) and the facial coverage has far greater staying power, long after the initial splat

Yes, shaving cream pies rule (and super easy clean up as well!). I wonder if Mrs. Bee uses anything other than shaving cream for her pies (marshmallow fluff, perhaps) as they stick so well!
