I, being older, remember the period when the ladies wore shiny and tight slip under the dress. Sometimes some ladies used slip as a bathing suit when they went to cool off in the lake. I remember that the ladies took off their dresses and stayed only in the slip. Then they just went into the water with the slip on them and took a bath. When the ladies came out of the water, the wet slips shone very brightly and clung to the ladies' bodies.
Me in work or nurse uniform with skirt only..., after..., because I couldn't resist the temptation and went into the water without taking pictures when my uniform was still dry, but there is a video in my video archive with me bathing in the lake wearing this work uniform, probably the nurse uniform.

I'm older than you and I know this time too. It was a good time and it's a shame that women so seldom wear slips these days. Madeline is a wonderful and great woman who reminds us of this beautiful time.
