For a long time I've wanted to experience being totally submerged in gunge, and the most likely way to do it would seem to be in my bath.. but the problem of disposing of this much gunge has always stopped me.
Does anyone have advice on substances that could be easily disposable in this large amount? And how best to do the disposal?!
I love natrosol and I know small amounts can go down a plughole no problem, but a bathful would surely result in blockage or some other problem. Can it be safely broken down/diluted with other chemicals?
I've looked into the jelly bath products which become water again once you add some activation powder, but these all have drawbacks of not being thick enough in the first place, and pretty bad for your body. I just don't trust them.
If anyone has experience of this please let me know what I could use and how to go about getting rid of it.
Sounds like you need an inflatable bath, once you've had your fun just scoop it up with a bucket and flush down the toilet. Done this a few times and its an excellent way of totally submerging
When we fill bathtubs up, we usually tape the drain up so nothing gets down. When we are done, we scoop everything out with buckets and divide it up into small garbage bags so you don't have to put it all to the curb at once lol. We've used pretty thick stuff like oatmeal and never had a problem!
Yeah, I agree with the toilet bowl thing. When I use lots of chocolate (cake batter, budding, sauce an syrup, I scoop it out and dump it down the toilet a little at a time (about a bowl full). That has worked for me.
Foodstuffs like oatmeal etc are definitely best down the toilet. Usually washed down with a bucket of water for every half bucket of 'slurry'.
Nastrosol (if that's the only thing you're using) was originally formulated as an industrial food thickener. It's entirely water soluble and breaks down completely in water eventually.
When it's fresh it's quite tenacious takes quite a lot of water to wash it off and away (ironically, far more than custard and cake batter do) and get rid of that sliminess. But wash away it will. Never fear. It's just a question of running water through it. It won't permanently block any plumbing. If you do appear to have a problem it could be that there's already a blockage in you outlet (like a build up of hair!). If you WAM a lot dose your bath with drain unblocker and keep it flowing (Candy Custard's sage advice).
That said, you'll find it easier and quicker to get most of it down the toilet.
