People like to speculate which celebrities are "one of us," and I am always dubious of their claims. The only two I really believe are right now, except for those who have come out and said it (Shahi), are Ellen, and Katy Perry.

It sounds strange when you say it out loud, but there's a surprising amount of evidence to back that up.

For an actual WAMmer Katy is sure doing a piss-poor job of actually getting messy in public.
[Yes, I know she "fell into a cake," but coverage was bad. She got sprayed with slime at that one KCA. And she pied a guy in the face on stage. That's it, right?]

I'm a WAMmer and I've never had a WAM experience at work, despite doing a lot of work in a creative field. And honestly, I'd rather keep it that way. Private life private, and all that. If they are anything like that, celebrity WAMmers are probably people that almost never get messy in public, like Kevin Bacon.

I don't really have a point to this, I've just seen this "not enough mess" argument brought out when it seems like the only point is to end a harmless discussion, that's all. There's never really conclusive evidence either way. Or rarely is, at least.

She has had massive cakefights at private parties, has a video where she squirts whipped cream from her breasts, etc, etc...supposedly sprayed the audience with cream at a show on a tour she did several years ago. She has a video "Last Friday Night" where a cheerleader gets _covered_ in cream. (Only seen briefly in the video, but I bet she could have watched the whole thing happen.) Why assume that she wants to be the one to get messy, rather than to watch others? A lot of mess happens sure around her.

There are documented cases of two different private parties Katy has thrown that have ended in cake fights. She also once tossed a birthday cake into the audience at one of her concerts. Of course, this doesn't prove anything at all, but when you add to that the faceful of slime she was seemingly only too glad to take at the KCA awards (laughing hysterically when she slipped on the slime and fell on her ass), the time she jumped into a huge cake on the MTV awards, the pie in the face she gave to some dude at the Grammys, and the cream guns she squirts at her audiences ... this all adds up to a pretty pronounced streak of messy behavior, no matter how "frustrating" it may be to some people here. It may very well be the case that messy pranks aren't sexually exciting for her in any way...it may even be just another way to ramp up her wild-and-crazy-party-gal image rather than something she's into personally. But it's a pretty solid record of involving herself in messy situations.

Makes me wonder just what the statistics are for people who are into WAM. No one in my real life knows that I have this fetish, and I don't know anyone in person whos admitted to it either. It just makes me wonder what present of our population truly are into this fetish.

I would assume it's a tiny tiny fraction of a percentage... if only because you would assume that most people with a WAM fetish and a computer would, eventually, come to the UMD if only to lurk. It's not like BDSM or another common fetish where there are hundreds of sites.... This and the Splosh forum are basically the only game in town.

Also, the fact that "cream pie" means something else in porn should be a tip-off that this is a fairly obscure fetish.

Also, if we're guessing which musicians are WAMmers based on the mess they cause to those around them, Aoki has to be at the top of that list by now. [Full disclosure: I don't believe for a second that Aoki is a WAMmer.]
