Hey all,...
I seem to have this memory of the Starland vocal band, who sings Afternoon Delight, doing a video where the hot chick from the band opened a drawer or something like that and a pie came out and hit her in the face.
I have done some searches for it, but no luck finding it. Does anyone else on here have a recollection of this? Or even a link?
Would love to track that down.

Yep, clip surfaced a while back.... It was from the short-lived (obviously terrible) SVB variety show, most notable for being the first national appearance of a young actor named David Letterman.

Pie hit occurs about 5:30 in. Cute target, and the crust makes for good coverage until it falls away, but I do remember thinking this was a letdown after seeing a brief snippet earlier. (Damn shaving cream!)

Hopefully finding this will encourage others (*cough*ROBBY*cough*) to share their own hidden finds of celebrities in pie-based scenarios.....

Not seen that, but love the song, it brings back great memories of the fantastic summer of 76, when I was 16....sigh

I'm pretty sure the target in that video was Margot Chapman, who sang vocals in the group.

(in all seriousness though, it's neat that someone can recall the basic details of a scene they saw years ago and this forum can identify it and track it down in such a short timespan.)

First of all, thanks to Rich for finding that clip! That is exactly the one I had seen...forgot about Letterman!!
And I totally agree...It is amazing that on such a brief description people can locate and provide links to missing/desired clips. This place is unbelievable(in a good way).
