Yo UMD, it's been a while since I have taken the plunge, however, I have moved into my own place which means I can mess about without having to worry about getting caught.
Cake mix has always been my go-to chosen substance mainly due to its texture so I am planning on filling up a regular sized bath tub with chocolate cake mix. Now obviously I know it'll take an endless amount of packs to fill it up to the rim (which isn't exactly my intention as I know that cake batter lathers up quite nicely even though I'd love to take that route someday) but I was wondering if anyone has ever messed about and if they have, how many packs would it typically take to perhaps fill it up around halfway? Also, would it be best to just dump the packs inside the tub in one go and mix it all at once or would it be best to mix each pack individually? The furthest I was able to go back in the day is managing to fill up two 6 liter buckets of cake mix (I think I used up 6 packs back then). Texture is key so my main aim is to have enough mixture to play around without it being too watery.
1) How many packs would one suggest? I was aiming at maybe 10/15? 2) How would you guys suggest I fill up the tub? Would it be ideal to dump all the packs in the tub and slowly work through it until the desired consistency? Or would it make more sense to mix each pack individually in a bucket?
A standard bath is about 90 litres, so you're wanting 45 litres of cake mixture. Cake mix packs seem to require about 400ml of wet ingredients so with the mixture itself lets say 500ml. So for actual cake mix consistency you'd be looking at 90 normal size packets to half-fill a bath.
