I can't tell you guys what a treat it was shooting with Bella last month. On top of being really beautiful, professional, cool and having a genuine enthusiasm for getting VERY messy, this shoot really showed me that the acting DOES NOT get any better than this. Both of Bella's scenes were A+ acting jobs, and no place was it more apparent than in this upcoming scene.
Funny that I had purchased a Princess Belle costume (from Disney's "Beauty and the Beast") last summer, yet it remained unused until Bella came to shoot. Guess it was just meant to be And boy did she ever do that costume justice--Bella went above and beyond what passes for acting around here--I swear she could've been cast for a bit part on a bad Disney Channel show
I guess it's a bit of a revelation how extra important acting can be in a messy scene. Really, it puts to shame all my lesser-than model/actors that have passed through the halls of PieZone Studios (looking at you, past Eastern European models ). Hoping all my future models can rise to this level. There's nothing like a model who can dig into those mean/bossy characters and earn the messy fate that's coming to them!
What do you guys think? Is top acting talent a necessity or is it just whatever?
For me, as I know it is for many others, my pie-in-the-face kink is one (very large) part of my overall slapstick kink, so a woman who can really act the part is a BIG plus.
And I agree, her eyes have a kind of psycho hellcat look in a number of her pics, which is another plus.
I'm on the side of this that 90% of the time prefers a scene to involve a humiliation factor - especially on acted sketches - and one of the most frustrating things for me is breaking in a scene, when the actor is supposed to not be enjoying the experience and then laughs or smiles midway. If they can hold the the character all through, amazing work by them - and if they get the lines done with conviction too, fantastic.
Was impressed with Bella's first scene, and will def get this, when funds allow.
(You may be being a bit harsh on some of your earlier models - Karin was great in her scenes, and Charlie more recently was also brilliant.)
Totally agree with you, PZ. A good actress makes all the difference in the world.
Of course, given that the majority of the responses to your post center on the possibility of a "wardrobe malfunction," I'm guessing that acting is not in the Top 10 (Top 100?) priorities for most UMDers. But some of us really appreciate it!!
PieZone, I wanted to say that I agree with dhillsarealive that Karin was actually pretty great in her own way. (I'll admit that maybe I'm biased because for my tastes she is your most gorgeous model to date.) But certainly Bella is in another league entirely in terms of acting, based on the evidence of this clip, and if you can use her more and find more model/actresses with or near her skill level, you'll certainly up your game. Whether that translates into more sales is another question, of course, but one you weren't even asking in your original post. (That element was brought up by a party I'm not allowed to name, who seems laser-focused on sales, even in this time of national crisis. To each his own.)
How long do you think it will be before this clip becomes available? And does Bella seem to be up for more shoots in the future?

I guess we'll find out soon!

She went out the door that day pre-booking a return shoot for July

I know They all worked out. Just speaking from the producer's perspective, being tasked with getting out those lines and reactions--it's a lot more work compared to when a model can naturally deliver the goods like Bella!

Hey gotta have good acting to sell the shock, horror and humiliation of a good wardrobe malfunction!

Also, how about you stop derailing any thread Rich enters into in the first place here on out?
Enigma, there's a thread in the Non WAM Forum on the Coronavirus where you're lambasting what YOU see as the world's ridiculous over-response to this pandemic. Your reasoning is based on simple math. Well, based on the same criteria, I'd say your response to me above is ... yep, a ridiculous over-response. You claim I "derail any thread Rich enters." And yet if you look back over SStuff's last 200 posts -- quite a large sample set -- you'll find I've "derailed" exactly two of them. And you attacked me (at much greater length) in the only other example too. So you're claiming I derail 100% of all posts SStuff participates in, when the figure in the last few years is really 1%. Seems like you're a showy attack dog with some pretty impaired math yourself.
In the meantime, at SStuff's invitation, he and I have taken our conversation into the private realm, so it won't trouble anybody else any further.
Meanwhile, to keep this thread on its positive Pie Zone track, I thought we should salute one of PZ's other ultra-gorgeous Eastern European models who pulled off a pair of true PZ classics, Karin...
Pieromaniac and I hashed out a lot of stuff via PM.... and while we'll probably never see 100% eye to eye, I did want to remove my overly negative posts.
It's not an excuse, but like everyone else lately, I've been a little overly anxious and I'm sure I flew off the handle more than normal. Anyway, sorry again for thread derailment.
Yes, SStuff meant he and I hashed things out in private. He shouldn't be apologizing for derailing this thread; that was my fault so I accept all blame and apologize for it myself. I've also deleted the posts that provoked SStuff in the first place.
I'm sorry to have caused you unnecessary grief, SStuff, and I'm determined not to do that again. It's understandable if some of all of you doubt I can follow through on this intention, but hopefully I can shatter the glass ceiling of your expectations and make it happen.
