(CNN)Two people were rescued after falling into a tank full of chocolate at the Mars M&M factory in Pennsylvania Thursday, officials said.
Both patients were transported to the hospital, Assistant Supervisor Nick Schoenberger of Lancaster County 911 Dispatch told CNN. "One patient was transported by ground and one person was transported by helicopter," Schoenberger said. The extent of their injuries is unknown. "Fire crews have eliminated pulling them straight out of a tank," Brad Wolfe, communications supervisor for Lancaster County 911 dispatch, told CNN earlier on Thursday. "They have to cut a hole in the side of the tank to get them out," he said. Wolfe said that it's unclear how the people fell into the chocolate tank. No injuries have been reported at this time, according to Wolfe.
My post wad a link to [admin: a clip from a mainstream movie, details removed]. Just to make sure everyone knows it wasn't something weird.
I apologize for nothing

This is the kind of near miss that's just total nightmare fuel for me;
Luckily the chocolate was only waist deep and not over the head deep. (or chest deep and solidifying) Luckily (hopefully?) no injuries- such as striking head on the way down and being knocked out, or breaking bones/getting lacerations from the tank. Luckily the air in the tank was breathable and not de-oxygenated Luckily the tank didn't contain mixing/agitation equipment (or it was turned off and remained off throughout) Luckily the chocolate wasn't excessively hot

My nurse friend actually works in the area and got this in her nursing feeds. I had posted a link in the groupme.
This was really weird. Still no details on how they got there, or that if they weren't seriously injured why one was helivaced to a hospital. I get evaluation, but you don't call a chopper unless someone is in critical condition.
