For those of you who are not mathematically inclined, the symbol "e" used to represent Euler's number, which has a value of about 2.72; if one multiplies pi by e, one gets about 8.53; therefore, I would like to nominate August 5th as "pie" day. I know that we don't really need excuses to pie and be pied, but I like having them, and I do think that others do as well, so I thought that I might give everyone one more excuse to pie and be pied

Another nomination: pi divided by e is about 1.156. I would therefore like to nominate January 15th as "pi/e" day.
