I'm planning to have a friend over in a week or two, we've slept together before and I hope we will when she's over. I think she'll be into a bit of messy play but would rather discuss it when she's here. So I want to buy a few substances that would be good for a beginner like chocolate of some sort without it being anything too weird to just have lying around the house
I agree with both suggestions so far... but how about chocolate angel delight? Perfect for pudding if you're making her dinner and a fun childhood-reminiscent product to mess around with. Once she's enjoyed being plastered with that you can grab the cans of shaving foam and paper plates xx
A good way to get started is with something that is desirable, like something sweet and that tastes good. That way there is more enjoyment to be had. Chocolate is a good idea, maybe some browny or cake batter, whipped cream/cool whip, and real pies.
Shaving cream will probably better once the two of you have more experience since it can be a bit bothersome to some people with less experience, since it tastes like... earwax... and stings if it gets in your eyes.
All this cake, there must be a princess somewhere.

I just want to second exactly what MarioFan64 said in his post: that you definitely want to go with something sweet & edible (and warm.) I would avoid non-edible stuff like shaving cream. I would say start off like you're going to bake some brownies or a cake together and then after the batter is mixed up bring the topic up slowly: talk about how good it would feel to be covered in the warm chocolate and get her to dip her hand in the bowl while whispering some dirty talk to her rub your hand along hers while submerged in the bowl and say how good it'd feel to get covered in it with her. If she's down and you get her turned on just make sure you got a couple extra boxes of mix in the pantry and *BOOM* mission accomplished (hopefully!)
