Honestly, they don't care. The more thy sell the more secure their jobs are, buy what you like. On the very few occasions supermarket staff have been chatty, I've just been completely honest what it's all for - doesn't phase them, they've probably heard far worse than "this lady here is going to wear all of it" (I sometimes go shopping with the models).
