Exactly!!! Even for being in the mid to late 80's just when I really started to watch professional wrestling as a kid, the mud wrestling portion was just about what it was in the 80's. Also worth noting, in a earlier segment of the show announcing the action prior to the mud match was some guy named Jim Ross.
The best female mud match from the 80's was between Sunshine and Missy Hyatt...can only find a handful of pics from that match. Don't know if there is a video of it anywhere.
