Yes you heard it right folks. Double dare will be returning! A show that got many of us into wam and messy things. Officially confirmed on the nick Facebook page
I agree that the show itself is not going to produce anything and will just be kids (and/or adults in protective gear) but I am hopeful that maybe just the fact that it is on, will make people remember who forgot, or have those that never heard of it think about getting messy. I don't think it will give us content but maybe it will spark conversation that could possibly lead to converts. I know I have had people ask me about my Double Dare shirts at the college I go tom and I have used it as an opportunity to talk about slime etc. in the hopes that I may be able to find a fun college aged girl to be my 'WAM buddy' - it has not happened yet but damnit I am still gonna keep trying lol
If the "Pie Face!" game being a huge seller for 3 years now didn't suddenly make America (or at least cute women) more excited about the idea of getting LEGIT messy.... Not sure a revival of Double Dare for kids will do the trick either.

Well, the official casting call mentions teams including parents, and the official press release mentions "appearances from blasts from the past and stars from today", so all hope is not lost!
