Part 3 is an alternate ending--Eddie (wearing jeans and a white t-shirt) ignores the cries of help from Barmy and Ms. Lovely. Instead, Eddie heads deeper into the marsh, looking for a place to clean her hands. She finds a water hole and is able to get into it, but when she heads out, she accidentally steps into a deep mud hole. Starting to sink she tries to grab onto to something, but nothing is close. She ends up sinking waist deep in the dark, deep, thick mud--and the video fades to black, Eddie's fate unknown.
