It actually started outside.

I stepped onto the balcony and got caught in the rain just a little at first.

But it didn't feel like enough.

So I went inside, still dressed.

White t-shirt, black jeans, sneakers and stepped into the shower.

I stayed there.

Letting the water run, soaking through everything.

Even washing my hair, shampoo running down my face and body.

Fabric getting heavier, clinging tighter

taking my time, playing with the feeling.

Slowly letting go, piece by piece

until there was nothing left but the red boxers.

13 minutes of water, tension, and letting it happen.
